All you guyz go to my poll and discuss it!
The last person who prey during a mission die crushed by a giant statue 9.9 (buddha mission)I got a sneaky suspicion Inaba's preying just might save him.

So the swords are total freebies, which means we STILL don't have any idea what the first weapon upgrade is.
Seriously, the speed with which Kurono and Katou were able to grab these swords before the mission stands out in the "Oku Errors"...
And btw guys, Obo is the truth... "Inaba is most likely to be dead in the chapter theory" -----> introduction to some bad-ass characters!
err. the first weapon upgrade is the flattening gun, as shown by the 3s.
Look guys, the 3 sadists who each cleared once got the H-guns. That's the 100 point weapon.
Why are you so sure that Gantz choose which weapon give them and didn't they choose by themselves from a list like:
- H gun;
- Double X gun;
- Two blade gantz sword;
- Super suit;
- Flying gantz-bike...

what bothers me more is the black thing in the last panel, while it is most likely a slightly different type of alien, it might also be a gantzer with an even mroe advanced suit.
^lawl, someone always needs to point out the obvious.
Franky House scan:
Cherry: Are you sure It's not..actually over...?
Katou: Lets Scout out the area.
I didn't compare other translations... but if this is accurate, it means, that they still don't use the radar....scrubs.
Again for the "Swords coming from nothing", I rewatched chapter 290
-The ball opens and the guns are in the gunrack
-Gantzers reading the ball, some talkings
-"the transfer has started" and the table shows the gunrack empty
So not only has not be shown someone opening the door and taking the swords but it's also not shown someone taking the guns from the gunrack, so if we assume that they have taken the guns from the gunrack we can also assume that they took the swords from the room.
Some time has obviously passed from the jibber jabber after the ball opened and the transfer and what has been done has not be shown.
I simply think that Oku, after the 2 years long last mission is cutting some scenes (hopefully...) for a faster conclusion for the arc.
Another note, translating from the Italian I forgot that it's a Jap manga and I've read the phrases from left to right (well, it would have been a wonderful touch if Oku would have written the western dialogues from left to right) in any case the guy says that "everybody's dead" while we see other Gantzer fighting and the last phrase ("ormai...non conta pił nulla"-"By now, nothing matters anymore") should mean that the team of the guy (maybe the Roma team) has been annihilated ("everybody's dead") and the Tokio team is the first "reinforcement" he has seen (while the main action is now in the near plaza). Saying that "nothing matters anymore", that I consider a cryptic phrase, could be related more to the Katastrophe than the actual battle.
Now, we don't know if something like that happened in the past, I mean a Gantz team completely wiped out by the aliens, this faraway transfer could be sort of a standard reaction by the "Gantz network" or whatever it is, obviously the aliens can't be left alive. But I'm more prone to think that it is the result of a miscalculation of the ball or the balls network: As far as I know Gantz calculates what kind of "force" is needed to kill the aliens, searching for better fighters or sending reinforcements *before* the start of the the mission, in this case it can't calculate how much force is needed and went on "blue screen of death" sending teams there randomly. Again, I'm counting on HS.
...And please, no Reika death unless that fucking (literally...) sex scene, I *like* her huge tits...
Because I also don't sleep at night, I've gave birth to my contorced theory on Gantz and Katastrophe, here
