Not necessarily. These aliens might be resistant to the type of damage done by swords or the crushing pressure of the H-Gun, but not the combustion damage dealt by X-guns or perhaps they find that they have to use the Y-gun to send the enemies or at least get them to cast off their disguises and fight in a more vulnerable form. For all we know these Italians might have just tried to use H-guns and Swords without using tactics like Osaka.

I think this mission is too imbalanced. Even with Nuri, Oka still managed to school him a bit and figure out his secret. Yet looks like someone with the same capabilities gets owned already. What chance would Tokyo team have? Wouldn't it better to just wait for katastrophe and let the nukes take care of the aliens?

You say oka type guy got killed already, but how do we have any idea how long this missions been going on for? I get the feeling that the Italians have been fighting for a while already, and now that they seem to be getting owned gantz sent the tokyo team in as emergency reinforcements, which would make sense as to why theres no newcomers this time around.

This may be completely wrong, but anybody else feels like as if Nishi knew this was going to happen?

I mean, of course, his Massacre had to be at that time because Katastrophe was coming soon, but even with a suit he might have died in this school.

But instead killing his classmates with a surprise attack and running away early enough, he didn't seem to be in a hurry.

Even if he stated the police showed up faster than he exspected, he was not nervous or anything and did not try to escape.

Think it's possible he knew something about the incident in Italy?

^Nah, he just predicted that his life isn't left for much more since katastrophe was at hand and all.

I normally hate using this word, but this arc looks like it's gonna be epic.

edit: I don't think gantz screwed up in the first place, it realy looks just like an emergency.

I still doubt too many of them will die in this mission. Oku would have to introduce new and totally unexperienced characters for the katastrophe which just seems unlikely.

Just a little side note, the y-gun is the send gun.
