After Kei came back, the series took a turn, so I pose this question: Do you think Gantz got wack? Why, or why not?

no, all stories have to come to an end. I think it's getting better. Last chapter was one of the best. In my opinion.

I think just the opposite, during the nuri mission i think some parts of the story were wayy stretched, but now that Kurono's been revived it seems like the story is again going to shift back to greatness. The next arc is probably going to be one of the best of the series.

291's chapter end message suggests the current aliens are more powerful the Nuri aliens, so yeah chances are this might be better than Osaka arc. Kurono x Katou might also be another reason why this arc will rule.

Hmmm, aside from the definition of 'whack', I do think that the series has been changing.

From the entirety of Phase 1, while things naturally progressed (and there was a big shift after the Buddha Alien Mission), it did have the same atmosphere for the most part. Phase 2 has felt different from the start, though it may also be to blame on the Nuri Mission, which was pretty unusual. Because of the Osaka team, everyone except Katou and Nishi were doing absolutely nothing until Gantz forced them to fight Nuri himself.

I agree that when Kurono was revived, things really changed. Probably because of Katastrophe. Now with Gantz himself being literally whack and these aliens stronger than anything we've ever seen, this arc is going to be the big build-up before one of the climaxes of the series, I think. We're definitely going towards an 'End of the World as we know it'-scenario.

So yeah, I think Gantz changed, but I wouldn't call it whack.

^Hahaha huh? I don't think it got worse but the last chapter seemed rushed. Don't they usually spend two chapters or a chapter and a half before Gantz sends them?
