It's no biggie if there wasn't any bodies there surely will be bodies a plenty soon enough.

I don't think so, otherwise the bodies wouldn't look like that; they don't strike as people victimized by x-weaponry; if part of the body is a few meters away from the rest, I'd say they were torn apart rather than blown away. It's also a different effect from the h-gun. And I don't believe someone slashed by the sword in half would have a body that far from the rest.
Of course, there's also the possibility all those body pieces belong to different people, but still, I don't think this is a gantzer versus gantzer case. It'd take away the fun of it.
Thanks for the pic!!
Now that I calmed down, a little personal analisys:
I'm with Cali in this, it doesn't look like Gantzers VS Gantzers, the final pic looks like the remain of a battle: limbs cut and some shots on the buildings (look at the hole in the "T" banner in comparison with the picture I posted). The bodycount (for now) should be two: there is a corpse to the right, cut in half, the torso of another body to the left, I think that the head in the upper right is of this body with the limbs all around the street (near the panda should be a foot...). It looks like a big stroke. Cutting the legs is unusual in a sword fight human vs human and the legs should be near the body while that corpse is splattered all around the street, same for the head, it's not near the body.
About the timezone. The transfer happened after 8 p.m. Japan time, I think it was 9 p.m. or more: Kurono was looking the headline news of Nishi and the clock near the TV showed the time.
BUT there is a little inconsistency: Kurono is looking the news, but the news didn't show what was happening in Rome: so I think that the battle is only at the very beginning and should be some Gantzers of the Roma team still alive (well, it's hard to drink if they are already all pnwed...)
And now, for the overall theory: Japan, Germany, Italy... Do you ear the ring bell ? It could even be a coincidence... But still... Something to think about during the next two weeks (sigh...)

Points well stated but I can think of several real world situation that would produce tearing wounds. The main reason I thought about ball vs ball was we haven't seen it before story wise. And any sports team will have a scrimmage/practice against itself before the big game.

At any rate, some random prediction - fighting the greek gods, with Tae playing the part of athena, and Kurono farting a golden arrow at the end boss. Moero, ore no cosmo!!!

My guess is that there's only one alien left or there's a bunch of very strong ones (like 80-90 pointers)
Hope it's Kurono who gets the full 100 points...
The alien(s) should be mafia bosses...
wow this chapter is owesome
