Thread: Who will get 100 points in the new hunt?

I dunnno about nishi revive izumi, but i second that he'll choose not to leave. He's a wanted man in japan now. If he choose to be free he'll be put in jail for the rest of his live or death penalty.

^IMO, Nishi's in for number 2.

Nishi ain't going nowhere. He knows about the vamps and probably thinks they know about him, as paranoid as he is. If he leaves he'll be arrested instantaneously for a mass murder that he won't even recall. I think he'd rather take his chances knowing he has the suit, the gun and at least a general idea of what he hell is going on.

Let us check the possibilities for all current team characters, even though it's highly unlikely some will get points.

That´s pretty much what i think about will be going on in Nishi´s mind should he get 100 points in the next mission, considering that he´s all for survival and that he was quite aware of Izumi´s awesomeness, i´m betting on his revival rather than him leaving Gantz.

Of the options, I agree with you partly except for the below points;

Kaze - I dont see him getting a hgun. For a start, when he got 100 points first time around, and Izumi said it would be better if he got one, he didnt. He used his 100 for Kurono to revive a past team-mate. Now if he got 100 before Takeshi, it would be likely to revive one of the current team if they die in the mission. Im not even sure if he would choose freedom as he'd forget about Takeshi and he wants to look after him, keep a watchful eye on him. He's not likely to get 100 this time, but if he does it will be to revive someone.
As for Takeshi, I think Kaze would warn him against going free alone for the point you raised, even if Kazze doesnt wish Gantz's world on the kid. Its a real moral dilemma. Takeshi is likely to revive a dead team-mate as he is imitating Kaze and probably wont have any use for a powerful hgun.

I also doubt the Vampire pair would go free. True, its likely for them to revive someone. I think only Host Samurai will get the 100 personally. And to go against what I said above, if Kill Bill dies, its 50/50 whether he'll skip a hgun (his most likely choice) to revive her showing he does have feelings for her. IMO I think Kill Bill dying and him bringing her back will be a very likely option.

^For the Kaze matter, he asked Kurono if he had someone else to revive, if Kurono had said no, Kaze wouldn't just revive anyone, he would most likely choose 2. He was just being a nice guy, because he wouldn't pick 1 since he would stay there with Takeshi.

As for them going free, we might know the implications of memory erasure, but them as characters most likely don't, and Oku as the one pulling the strings might just decide it could work, and both of them get to be free and happy, at Suzuki's house without remembering ever being related to Gantz.

I don't think it's likely for the vampires to revive someone... there's just no point whatsoever in doing that, unless they revive each other. I can see them getting the gun because regardless of being provided by Gantz, it's still powerful equipment that they can use. It doesn't mean they'll use against aliens during missions; they can use it against the team, they can also take it back home and study it - though that would likely make Gantz trigger the bombs.

We've had strong characters coming back lately, Katou, Kurono... I won't really classify Sakurai or Nishi, because each have their good points but they haven't really had great achievements such as defeating the super strong bosses.
The only really "weak" character revived so far was Tae.

So I don't think it's unlikely for Takeshi or Kill Bill to die and then be revived by Kaze/HS, though I think that'd be a bit cheap.
