I doubt it's the katasrophe yet. Kurono's last sentence "At a time like this...... We've got.....a mission.........?!" makes me think that it's just a normal mission.
Because he knows when the timer will hit zero and I think he expects to be transferred then or shortly before.
So this comment makes no sense, unless we still have some time until it hits zero and there is another mission before the katastrophe. Since I don't think his comment is referring to the nishi situation (like "i can't believe nishi lucked out that much").

I honestly didn't expect another mission before the counter runs out. But it's not that bad if Inaba finally get's killed or the panda get's the remaining 60 points and brings Izumi back for the katastrophe.

This is possibly the best way to start a mission. Nishi killing a bunch of people and almost died fighting SWAT only to be transferred at the last second.

I seriously hope we see Team Osaka again in this mission. Kuwabara raping a bunch of aliens never gets old.

Oku certainly knows how to draw Nishi. This chapter has pretty good artwork.

Nice chapter. I was certain there was going to be at least one more mission before the Katastrophe starts. Can't wait to see what kind of target Gantz will give them next. ^^

About Nishi getting shot, my guess it was because he wasn't wearing the entire suit. We didn't see the caps beneath his shirt like with Kurono (usually), so it's possible Nishi's head, neck and somewhere below weren't fully protected.

If you're interested, the gun that the SWAT is pointing at Nishi's head is a Glock 17.

The last chapter was missing some details, sort of a fake cliffhanger, in this one the snipers firing can be seen in the first tables... The Swat suits look terrific...

I wouldn't be the one to clean that classroom...

... And maybe we'll have some fresh SWAT officers in the Gantz room...

same thing that happened when Izumi did his killing at Osaka :P

the difference is that this time we haven't seen anything about a decent new Gantzer like in that time, maybe only a SWAT member, and that's not saying too much :lame:

was the OMG thing that nishi got pawned? 'cause if so, it was a really crappy OMG, wasn't it?

I hope we see some classmates and SWAT members on the room... it'd be interesting. And yeah I also believe this isn't Catastrophe, just another joint mission.
