^I don't think Katou needs another Kishimoto now that he has the original. Sure, he might miss the specific memories with the other, but I don't think he minds it any more than Kurono mind having a Tae who spent about a month with another Kurono, not remembering the first time they dated and all the lovey dovey crap they initially had.
And the 100 points IS necessary, for BFG purposes.
But I agree on the mission being more Oni style than Nuri style, and I certainly don't want another 100 pointer... or at least not another Mr. Regeneration toes with endless forms.
The point about this not being the last mission is that Gantz knows when the catastrophe is going to happen, so why have a bunch of balls made if they're not going to be used, and right now, it's very unlikely all those balls Kikuchi saw have been put to use already.
And, for the off-topic bit, welcome back, man. Where have you been?

^ While writing this I completely forgot that Katou met the real Kishimoto. Funny how she didn't like Kei either time they met yet both times she was immediately drawn to Katou.
And the 100 points is definitely necessary, but the 100 point alien isn't. At the end of the Oni Alien mission almost everyone who survived ended up with 100+ points. I'd rather them get the points that way.
And I was wondering about all the balls. Maybe each ball can only revive and keep tabs on a set number of Gantzers. Maybe they need all the balls for some kind of a mass revival. When catastrophe comes, maybe they will use the balls to revive all of the people who have died recently and also all of the Gantzers in the memory of the other "active" balls. Form some kind of super Gantz army with the best Gantzers as "Generals". That's the theory anyway.
I've been hella busy. Crazy year. Thanks for the welcome. I'm glad to see your still around and keeping everyone in line lol.

^Maybe gantz wants to expand? Up to now there are probably balls in every bigger city such as tokyo and osaka... . And Now he's heading for the small cities as well. People will be dieng everywhere, looking at the recent missions. More opportunities worth to recruit.
for fuck sake tousen =(

^^I've read some memory theories some time ago.
I've counted the entries whenever the memory was requested, there were around 200 people if I'm not mistaken.
Anyhow, for the theories, considering the calculation made assuming the number of digits in the catastrophe counter had started with 999..., suposedly Gantz has existed for about 30 years (around the time of the moon landing or something), and so, it'd be strange to have only about 200 people dead in 30 years of missions. The theory I read is that only recent deaths get stored in the memory, whenever too much time has passed since someone died, that person is no longer maintained on the list.
Now, as form my own theory on the huge quantity of balls, I think whoever is behind Gantz intends to make every survivor of the catastrophe into a gantzer... or maybe make gantzers for the catastrophe. It all depends on whether the catastrophe will be really the end, or if there'll be something post catastrophe.

... Or maybe there's a scroll up/down option.

Since all Gantzers are dead, recent or not, there would likely be a catastrophe before some later Armageddon IMO. Though I don't see why you'd need to adhere to any rules if s#it hit the fan.

Maybe that exists for the 100 point option too. All this time they were were thinking they only had 3 options when the 4th option (free yourself with memories intact and keep as much cool stuff from the room as you want) was never even noticed lol.

Why rely on newbs when you could bring back good gantzers like Izumi & Budha Sniper to be in your army? All the other missions were just training, now that catastrophe is here it's time to bring out the big guns

I doubt we'll ever see Buddha Sniper again, or even see him getting mentioned. Seeing a replacement though for his tactical/sniper skills would be interesting though.
(wow... I just noticed there's a typo in the topic title... haha)

For the Memory Thing, Gantz could have a List to maintain Knowledge of who knew who - so if anyone knowing the deceased is still in the Group, those dead People are on the List. Hope you understand it, I'm to lazy to rephrase right now.
But, yes, I'd love to see the Sniper resurrected, he knew his Way around, provided good Cover and scored critical Hits for the sake of the Team.

^I really doubt Tougou is ever coming back.
Izumi is more likely to make it back and I also don't put much faith in his return either.
