Why are the people in Gantz retards?

What do I mean by retards?

1. Most of the people do not carry weapons.
- What is up with this? Half of the people entering "the game" do not even carry a weapon that includes the "pros" that have already survived one game. I mean there are atleast 3 weapons, the X-Ray gun/pistol , Long range sniper rifle, Gun for sending/trapping and also the device that renders you invisible.

2. Most of people do not use the weapons they carry.
-I mean most of the time battles are like this:
(Moster appears)
Someone: Aaah, Aaah, What is that ...
Someone2: Eeeh, Ooo ...
Someone: Haah, Should we shoot it?
Someone3: It alien, but it is huge ...
(Suddenly alien attacks and kills 2 people)
Someone: Aaah, run everyone ... it is attacking
Someone3: Waah, this can not be happening!
(2 more people are killed by the alien)
Someone: Aah, Aaah ... We can do this, I will survive!
(After 10 minutes of saying "I can do this!"/"Aahh, Oooh" someone shoots the alien once, and suprisingly it does not die)
Someone3: It is injured! But my suits is gone ... I can not give up!
(At this point 3-5 people are watching in horror how their friend is going to die ... instead of shooting the alien)
Someone3: Aah, Aah, must get my gun ...
(Imagine the rest)

This is how it should have happened:
Someone: Look that must be the aliens!
Someone2: Yes, ok now. Everyone shoot!
(Everyone shoots the big ass alien to pieces)
Someone3: It might still be alive!
(Everyone shoots the mofo some more and the mofo dies)
THE END

How about if just standing still and looking how the alien kills everyone they should shoot the fucker when it appears.

3. They are trying to understand what is going on, but nothing is done.
- Nobody has bothered to ask Gantz any questions, even though he/it is the only one that has given any answers (What happens after 100 points, The people who are already dead, The people who can be revived, the countdown to something (7 days).

4. They don`t work as a team. Most of the time it is 1 vs 1.
- I don`t know about you, but I would like to see some teamwork. Honestly that is prolly the best way to survive (or just hide with the invisibility device). I really would like to see people take different parts ... for example when they fought against the buddhas they had a sniper.

In Gantz everyone just stands around and waits to be killed, it is kind of annoying ...

Even better are the "civilians" taking pictures of aliens while they are still alive.

1. Seriously if i didn't read the comics and i jump to the gantz room i'll think the guns are toys, except if someone told me that it's a real weapon that have awesome destructive power then i'll take em

2. Because they're to amazed with what they see, they got huge weird thing they never see before and they got a gun that looks like toys, the first thing in those guys think maybe just run 4 ur life

3. Because they don't know who can explain it to them.
Ok, if you didn't read this comic you wouldn't know that to ask a question the gantz you have to put your finger inside his head

I can understand that if you see something unusual person might go in shock and can not think clearly or act . But how about this, if you see big ass alien, you blast the mofo instead of one person fighting it hand-to-hand and the rest 8 people running like asses or watching in ave.

1. I am not talking about the people who just arrived and do not know what is going on. I am talking about those who have already survived. If you read it, you will notice only few of them are actually carrying weapons, and even fewer are using them.

2. Same as before. Everyone including the old members, just stare the aliens about 30 pages and when half of them are injured or dead, someone decides to attack and use their weapons ...

3. Actually the ear is not somekind of magic button. Gantz just seems to be lazy, when he was asked who can be revived and to show the countdown they did not finger Gantz ...

Are you judging this manga entirely based off the osaka arc? because that's exactly what it seems to me

No, sorry. I actually read "all" the chapters released so far ... and I am still saying everyone is just standing around.

The last "game" was one of the worst though, everyone watched how the other team got annihilated (yeah, they said they can handle it alone). They did not quite understand that until the aliens are dead, you have to stay there ... even the leader (Oka Hachirou [EDITED], over 700 points) of the other team decided to leave, like he can just walk away. And in the end it was again 1 vs 1, while rest watched in ave ... They should have ganged up on it from beginning.
