I guess Nishi is wearing the suit but I remember one of the first missions, the bird one, when Kurono left it at his place, Nishi mucked him because of it saying that he was so stupid for taking the suit out of the G-room, so it tells us that Nishi always left his suit at the room, isn't it? maybe he is always wearing a suit now because Gantz got too dangerous and with the vamps around... you never know
Maybe Nishi hasn't escaped because of Piggy, not cause he likes that big fat ugly b14tch, but because of Gantz rules, ya know, the one that killed that gangsta guy in the animé for showing off his gantz goods to normal people: I guess Nishi is affraid that if Piggy sees him using ths suit or if anyone had watched his gun, his head would have exploded :P
catastrophe... maybe will have something to do with vamps?? or aliens?? well, since aliens seem to be man-made I guess vamps would be more likely
PS: catastrophe is on!!! XD at least it looks like
^No, you are wrong, Nishi bashes Kurono for leaving the suit at home, not for taking it out of the room. If you pay attention to the 1st volume, you'll notice Nishi has the suit before the ball opens up. That's the same method the current members of the Tokyo team use. The only people who didn't use this method was Katou's team back in the Budha mission; after the Tanaka mission they all left their suits there and got them at the beggining of the next mission.
And you're wrong again in your second point. Gantz killed Tetsuo because he intended to use Gantz weaponry against a multitude, which would likely leave witnesses. When Tetsuo killed the guy to whom he was going to sell the gun, no harm was done. It's the same with Nishi and piggy now, she hasn't seen any Gantz weaponry. She knows he has killed all the students, but she doesn't know how, and that's what matters.
Aliens don't seem to be man-made. At least not to me. Nishi stated himself that there are theories from other Gantz teams about the aliens being created by mankind - and therefore not being aliens - but he also mentions that he doesn't believe so himself.
As for the vampires, we're unsure how much they know or what their purpose is, since out of all the aliens shown so far, they not only disguise their forms as humans but they also share, to a degree, human feelings such as compassion.

The way im looking at this is Gantz is a man made defense against aliens.
(going a bit far out)Vampires might have been the first defense against aliens, well a failed attempt created by whoever is making those Gantz balls.
one question : what is Nishi looking at right before the last page?
"Nishi's looking outside". Sorry, just a joke. Maybe nothing in particular, otherwise he'd have protected himself if he knew the blast was coming.
If Gantz is a man-made defense against aliens - I agree with it -, then the aliens, in all their variety and freedom shouldn't really be also also created by humans.
I don't really think the vampires are made by the same people who developed Gantz.
It was Katou who told HS that the ball was the source of the missions. Therefore the vampires, as far as we were shown, do not have a very extent knowledge on Gantz, since they have counter measures for part of Gantz technology but they don't even know what is Gantz.
I think the vamps being the first (and failed) attempt to create a defense against the aliens is a viable theory. Theres no proof to back it up, but i dont think the fact that the vampires dont understand gantz's discredits the theory either. Heres some speculation as to why that could be true.
Whoever created the nanomachines (they're machines, so it would make sense for them to have been created by someone) did so to protect the people from the aliens. Nanomacines do make you stronger, however the side affects include feasting on human blood, so the project was scrapped and now the nanomachines spread like a virus. Later (could be much later) the gantz project was started up. If the vampires have been around for a long time, and the vamps we have now could be 3rd or 4th generation, then it would explain why they dont understand gantz and why they attack the gantzers.
^But if I remember correctly,in the chapter where Akira went to the meeting, the vamp said the "nanomachines that were made 200 years ago" or something like that....
Have Humans really discovered Nanos that long ago (guess I´ll have to wiki that)?
Cuz if not (which I believe) only Aliens could have done something like that....
^Also, there's the alliance the vampires have with at least some of the alien races, so I personally don't think they're created by mankind.
I think that in case they would be trying to create perfect humans - since the vampires are supposed to be stronger, smarter and all that shit - they'd have a few safety devices in case the experiment would try to overrun the leading power. It's just an asumption on my part, because I don't really think Oku puts much thought into that.
Anyhow, we also must take into account their vulnerability to the sun and etc.
I will stick to my belief that they're aliens anyway.
And I certainly do hope that after Oku shows us what happens to all the normal members of the team and Kikuchi, we will be shown some vampire times.
So: I didn´t search much, but I did find out that it was researched on nanotechnology in 20th century.
So if what the vamp said is right, there´s no way humans could have created them...
Perhaps the vamps where made so the Aliens could infiltrate human society, but they couldn´t copy them perfectly or something like that.Or or or.... xD
And who´s Kikuchi ? lol
Kikuchi's the journalist who's been investigating Gantz since Kurono was freed way back...
He's the one taking pictures of the Gantz factory.
