spoiler must be fake: Sei is alive? my l1ck3n 4ss!!!
I was reading abour your theories about the ones that can be revived or not, I guess Gantz has every single person who has already been in that room in its memory, dead or alive, there's no difference, and, like Nishi said in the very first missions: maybe they are just copies of the real persons, that's why there were 2 Kishimotos and my guessing is that, if they wanted to, they could revive Izumi as well of having someone cloned :O
A question that just came to my mind is if the memory of the Gantz balls is only one, I mean, every ball has in its memory only the people that went to that room or every single person that has ever be in contact with any Gantz ball is in its memory?? 'cause depending on this, they could or could not be able to revive Oka, Anzu or any of the Osaka Gantzers...

I'd have to think Gantz had the ability to communicate from ball to ball if it didn't have one huge central memory bank. Plus given Gantz knows war you'd be foolish to have everything in one location. You'd use several nodes across a distriuted web.

I'd be like "Gantz who was the baddest mofo to play in your dumb ass game? Though all the uber badasses thus far were asshol3ss except Kurono.

Hmm, hard to call that Osaka guy a jerk since he did help out without throwing an insult.

You know, Sei coming back is not necessary a bad thing. I always envisioned a Grand Resurrection ala DBZ style where every Gantzer or every Gantzer that did something get resurrected.
But I always thought of it as the final reward at the end of catastrafe, when the solo surviver, whoever he might be, have the fate of everyone in his hands. That is where DBZ should have ended, after all those Nameks get resurrected and Goku won.
Gantz ending in a similar fashion is not a bad way to finish it.

^ it would be a very positive ending, I'm not quite sure f i would like sumthing like that :P
is the catastrophe going to be the last mission? Hard to tell, I don't think so, there's still a big plot gap between the vamp-gantz'balls-real_world that has to be explained somehow and a big mission would get boring if they try to fit in everything
high bet: the OMG thing will have something to do with the gantz factory, maybe a lot of gantz balls will appear on the street and the aliens will be huge and a really big bad ass army (maybe the 'little soldiers' will be like the demon-vamp that Kurono an Izumi cut in half...)

Looks like the last spoiler was (Big Surprise) fake after all, Doflamingo has posted a new spoiler at ritual :
Basically : The explosion was caused by the army before they storm the classroom, fatty is still alive and nishi attacks the soldiers the chap ends with nishi being transfered to the gantz room as the next mission starts.
Actually liked the fake spoiler better...

[BIG spoilers, be warned]
More detailed translation for those that are interested.
I didn't leave out anything, unless the french translation isn't complete based on the Japanese one (translated from French to English).
Chapter 289: Society at war (or on the offensive)
Armed soldiers charge the classroom.
A soldier who managed to shoot Nishi announces his death.
The girl who had a crush on him is rescued at the same time.
(next page) A soldier's head is flying/floating in the air.
Nishi stands up.
We see the news announcing the death of the criminal teenager, Kurono is watching this on TV.
Kurono: "Seriously... Nishi..." (I personally believe this is in a interrogative tone, in which he doubts/can't believe Nishi's death. I don't believe he's saying this in a ashamed attitude regarding Nishi's past actions)
-Back to Classroom-
Apparently, soldiers continue spraying at Nishi.
He falls on his back/falls backwards roughly.
He's bleeding from his mouth and nose, the soldiers aim their guns at his head.
The top of Nishi's head is starting to disappear, signaling a Gantz transfer. Nishi replies with a smirk.
Kurono: "It's now... that the mission..."
This seems much more plausible than the fake spoiler from an earlier post. Kurono is probably being transferred himself to be actually able to state that last sentence (he can't see what's going in the class, so I don't know how he'd figure it out otherwise).
We'll see if this one is actually true though.

Indeed I can. He bailed on everyone before he got nailed.
