^Oh?^but "end of the week" was fine, I guess.
Man, oh, man, at last! With the beginning of the new year, we'll have the beginning of the catastrophe. YES!

I just want to get some clarification. Does "end of the week" really mean the end of the seven day counting down period, and the start of catastrophe is now?
So instead of having the guy who used to bully Kurono enter Gantz, we have all of Nishi's classmates entering Gantz? And are we going to have a scene where Kato start to give basic pointers to these newbies, and they started shooting Nishi and Nishi's coherts as revenge?
^For your first question, yes, most likely Catastrophe starts on 289, which is one chapter beyond the one we're getting on december 24th.
As for your other question... that's theory only. It's not really impossible, but I'll say unlikely, since we aren't sure whether there's gonna be a mission right now, even though the catastrophe certainly finally happens.
Well, I was just replying to this when I lost my message, so I'll keep this quick.
It does look like the Katastrophe is impending with the mention of that "force" in the spoiler. It was in a Doctor Who ep a whiles back where a sound wave crashed and smashed windows in a load of buildings as a huge space ship entered Earth's atmosphere. Something to think about?
Also it looks like Katastrophe is going to start without a visit to the Gantz room from this. Nishi's mention of the Gantzers dying first will probably be from the unknown force hunting them down as priorities via their hunter signals. Also, without the visit to the Gantz room they'll have to rely on gear theyve taken outside.
Though I expect there will be a visit sometime, how are the Oka-like hunters going to get their flight-bikes (my name, pretty good huh?) and Mecha?
Cant wait for the new year anyways![]()
^Maybe the apartment door is unlocked now, so they can drop by whenever they want.
^That's a good theory, but I wonder how the scoring will work in that case.
Or whether there are going to be "normal" missions after this.
If the hunt starts now without a mission briefing, I wonder if we will see HS and killbill surrounded by aliens and vampires as the opening act. It is about time they make an appearance.
^Well, we can't be to sure about that either, since we don't know whether alien extermination is the only aim of Gantz.
I have a hard time believing the Catastrophe is going to be only one thing and then it's all over, in which case I prefer the idea that Gantz will go on with a post-apocaliptic setting or something like that. Kurono still has to get his h-gun too...
