^Sheesh, what's with all you people and this true love business... I swear if Tae dies, I'll put up a size 7 "bahahahahahaha, there you go the power of love". Seriously, Tae will die if Oku feels like it. Period. So much stuff has happened in this manga for no other reason...

I dont think that Gantz is interestet in strong fighters or has any kind of emotions anyways, hes just a kind of programm that executes his orders, till now we havent seen any real interference of Gantz that would break the "rules" of surviving or dieing (exept the comments and the mission of killing tea itself).

He was first to have sense enough to notice the scope on the x-shotgun/x-rifle(name varies), and thus figure out he could kill things from a safe distance away. However, when faced with an enemy that his gun couldn't kill, he snuck up behind it, and tried to break its neck with just his bare hands, thinking for whatever that might work. Thus, he proved himself as stupid as the rest of them in the end, and died.

Nishi was the first one play around with the controller for a few minutes, and figure out how to do stealth mode. This is something the rest didn't figure out until much later, after bringing him back.

They still haven't figured out to safely snipe with the rifles though, which makes Kurono even more retarded, since he survived the mission where someone did it before, and knows its possible. Actually, their final mission they started sniping again, taking out the boss, but why not do that all along?

Will Gantz bring back anyone who ever got any points? Or just keep making copies of hunters as they did? Or make a copy of all the best hunters from any area, for each city. Have a Kurono in all of the thousand or so locations a Gantz ball is at. With a copy of the best from each team together at each location, you'd have quite the army.

Sure, it's wasn't very gantz like to happen this way. The Gantz way would've been Inaba raping Reika or Reika raping Kurono (going down on him and unzipping his pants). But Kurono can't just fall for her after she confessed. If he did then all his character development would've been for nothing.

But it will be interesting. Reika has obviously lost it, planning to make a second Kurono with a creepy smile. For that she will need 100 points, so she should kill anything in her way. And after all that killing we might get to see what happens when she reaches 100 points. Will her wish be granted and what will go down once we have two Kurono's (i think neither of them would like that too much). And what will happen to her if her wish doesn't get granted (can't be too good for her sanity).

I look forward to it all the crazy shit that will go down. Besides, we have that katastrophe too. That should be bloody as well. Unless there will be a lame plot twist were it isn't an big alien invasion or something like that at all.

I know you guys are right, Character development is what separates manga from cartoons. I just think Oku missed an opportunity to show how brutal reality can be compared to Gantz. All this quiet before the storm seems too predicable for me.

Hello? Are you speaking about the ball that decided "shit, this team is soooo weak, let's hook up with that okay dude and ask him to go back, and bring load of people with him"? The ball that went "I got bored with you, Kei-pussy, I got better toy now so if you don't get at least 15p, you're dead"? And "teheheh, this is fun, now let's get rid of the timer and make those losers stuck in the fight until they defeat the boss or die"? And "Boo, things can't be covered up anymore... I don't have to make them invisible and do that boring cleaning after mission shit now, wheee", ect... Is that uninterest and emotionless to you?

Gantz's one of those who have the most interesting emotions in the whole series. Don't go say otherwise, unless you can back it up.
