Anzu Yamazaki's Revival?

Do you see that happening? The kid who gave his word to Kato before being transferred back could've forgotten his word? I'm hoping There'll be a KatoxAnzu if that happens.... At least I would hope so, but I'm probably wrong as he feels towards Kishimoto.

Your thoughts?

I honestly don't think that we will see the Osaka team for a while. I don't know if you needed to make a new thread for this.

But just for the record, I don't think Katou thinks about Kishimoto that much nowadays...

After all of his whining, freaking out, and the horror he has seen, plus the knowledge that so many others died, I find it unlikely he'd spend his first hundred points on anything other than getting out of there. Also, what about the guy who was nice enough to let him ride with him, who he got killed by refusing to calm down and shut the hell up? Doesn't he owe him an extra life? If he was going to bring someone back, it should be the one he is responsible for killing.

And Kato never spoke to Kishimoto other than at the missions. She is the one that was obsessed with him, he too naive to ever notice. Lets look at the total number of things he has said to her, on the three missions they saw each other.

When they arrived at their first mission...
Kato: "I saved you from that rapists, and gave you my jacket. Now I'm going to run off and leave alone with this horny friend of mine who I haven't seen in years before today, and who was all over you when you first arrived in his arms."

Bah.

Mission two.
Kato: "So you and Kurono are living together? Alright, whatever. I'll totally ignore you after this mission is over, because I have absolutely no idea you are into me. I'm too busy running off to check on my little brother to notice you right now."

And mission 3 at the start
Kishimoto: "I ran off in my pajamas and lived on the street. But its alright, he didn't try to molest me or anything. I know at the start of last mission I arrived struggling to get free as he had his hands on my breasts, but you know, its fine, I'm sure he is a really great guy at heart."

He didn't really know her that well at all, since she only talked about him constantly with Kurono, much to his continual annoyance, and never once bothered to contact him.

So if Kato was going to bring someone back, it'd be the girl from Osaka who offered to move in with him. Or maybe he'd find her statement of wanting to shack up with him, despite the fact they just met, kind of creepy, and choose someone else, even if they were able to revive someone from a different team.

^ I beg to differ. I have high hopes for nerdo. Even though I don't think we'll see the Osaka team anytime soon, I think nerdo will strive to fulfill his word. There are "good people" in Gantz too, take the Tokyo team for instance...
And Oku made it very clear since Katou's arrival that nerdo took a liking to his hero-like character.
Actually, now that the Catastrophe is about to begin, I wonder, maybe we will get to see the Osaka team earlier than expected. truth be told I was hoping Katou would go visit Osaka to check on Anzu's kid. It was a bit of a let down that he didn't

As for the Kishimoto issue, Katou at least kissed her as she died. So he did acknowledge her intentions and had at least a little bit of lust for her - that's how I see it anyway.
But to me, contrary to the fuck-hungry Kurono, Katou control his instincts and doesn't really know how to act towards women, hence why he was led up so easily by Anzu's talk. The thing is, even if she lived and they ended up living together - which I also find unlikely - that wouldn't mean he's in love with her or anything, maybe he wouldn't even get in her pants unless she's make him do her...

As for nerdo trying to revive Kyou, maybe that can cross his mind, but Kyou's help wasn't really affectionate and all. Nerdo would revive Anzu out of respect for Katou, who defeated the baddest mother fucker of all and therefore saved nerdo more than once. I think nerdo, much like the tokyo team, would only come to revive one person, and then he'd change his way of thinking towards his own survival - just like Kurono now, and just like Sakata wanted them to behave by his speech.

Also, Kyou got killed because he was an idiot, not because of nerdo's interference.

We may see an Osaka cameo when it's all said and done but anyone who thinks Nerdo will survive let alone revive anyone is delusional IMHO. But then again Oku is pretty sick.

^Don't think we'll be seeing any of osaka team anytime soon... in fact i don't WANT to be seeing any of them any time soon. Gantz already has an overabundance of "interesting" and "not so interesting" chars as is. We already have Kurono and his mouse for the "love-love" moments, plus we have Reika for spicing up the Kurono situation a little bit, Cherry has A LOT, I REPEAT A LOT, of growth potential, Inaba and old man are "not so interesting" enough to make any stunt they pull surprising, Kaze/Takeshi getting more muscle rider than before is always something to look forward to, the panda is gonna revive izumi if she doesn't get pawned within the next two missions (it would be lol to see her almost dying, and then an Izumi pic popping up... "ATHENA!!!! MOERO, ORE NO COSUMO!!!!"), we are finally going to see some kurono/katou pawnage... HS is another Ubber Big character, plus there's his "me Tarzan you Jane" relationship with Chiaki...
Anyway, what am i getting that? I've said this before in some other threads, but more characters mean less room for other characters to grow, and gantz is already big enough as is. Anzu, or any other character, will just drag the pace down...

Join the "More action in Gantz" Movement. Say No to More Characters!!!

Anyway, I don't mean to sound mean, but i personally think (going on the grounds that Inaba has realized how shit he is and is finally going to fix that) Nerdo<Inaba<Panda... actually, i rate the panda very high as a gantzer... good enough to pair with Izumi, at the very least. If Izumi does come back, i expect him to hare off alone with Hoi Hoi, saying something like "The panda is all the support i need... anyone else would just get in the way..."
