Beg to differ with Thats the Theory's post. That runs with the anime lines where Kishimoto and Kato's relationship happens.

Mission 1: lol, yeah youre right there.

Mission 2: Kato didnt know Kishimoto was living with Kurono here, he only found out at the Mission 3 briefing.

Mission 3: Because Kato and Kishimoto came up with the xgun name between Missions 1 & 2, makes me think that they met up some time after Kurono yelled her into leaving (is it just me that thinks his rant was justified???). This makes me think also, that she may have wormed her way into living with him and Ayumu in their apartment as she was homeless and did the same to Kurono when she knew where he lived. She didnt even say until Mission 3 start she was with him.

Heres how I see it:

One day, Kato chilling somewhere...

Kato - Heya Kishimoto!
Kishimoto - Oh Hi Kato!
Kato - whats up?
Kishimoto - Im homeless
Kato - Ive got an apartment with my bro now, come live with us!
Kishimoto (thinking) - Excellent, a new home. Best not tell him about me living at Kurono and he kicked me out, if it comes to it I'll counter with a veiled reference that he was trying to touch me all the time

Well I'm having mixed feelings about whether Reika will really try to save Kuruno. Though I understand she loves him and all, Kuruno was once under extreme danger in the Keke Alien mission but she didn't do anything to save him, and during that time she was starting to develop feelings for him.

Though, yes, she is a stronger now, but I think she will always have the confidence that his will to survive will get him out of any dangerous situation.

With Anzu? Not so much of the same thing. I think that, assuming she could be revived, she will return to Katou and maybe even possibly do missions with him, but learn not to get in the way. For example, if I was Anzu and I was seeing Katou die, I'd hate to let it happen but I could always earn my 100 points and bring him back.

Keke alien mission?
If you're talking about the Kappe mission, I really don't think Reika was in any helpful position to Kurono.

As for Anzu, if or when she's revived, I somehow don't see her going to Tokyo to try ad bind Katou to his promise. She didn't make out alive of the Nuri mission after all. I could see her falling for nerdish nerdo since he'd be the one to revive her, though. (=

I think when Kurono got 100 Points again and has the chance to revive someone (i exspect Izumi to be revived by Panda that time ) he would chose Kishimoto or Sei.

He wanted to do it before, but always had people to be revived before, like Nishi.


Despite that, in the sooner time they won't be able to revive anyone but really strong guys, because Katastrophe.

To revive unskilled gantzers like Kishimoto now was just dumb (though, Sei would be an option, she did pretty good).

We don't know what Katastrophe is, but at least someday, in this manga, we will see Kishimoto again.

Or the Original Kishimoto dies and will get into the room :P

^ I almost don't have anything against Kishimoto, but considering the "revive Kei-chan" mistake didn't happen. I see no Kishimoto for the rest of Gantz. (And I sort of hope it'll remain like that)

As for Kurono, his resolve in the end of the latest chapter (283) plus the images of him wielding a h-gun to me pretty much mean he'll get a h-gun and stop the revivals, at least for a while.

@On Reika (I seem to be posting a lot on her latelyXD): It's important to point out that it wasn't love on first sight for Reika. It's something that started off and grew very slowly based on what she saw Kurono do. It's not any 'one thing' it's everything - his awesomeness, his will to survive, the fact that he saved her, him crying over inaba/old man/tae, seeing him die/a nervous wreck over Tae, etc. It's also why i believe it won't be transferred to anyone else. Reika is either gonna get laid by Kurono, or she'll die a virgin XD.
