Thread: Gantz 283-284 Spoilers/Discussion/Prediction

I had a feeling it was fake. I never trust anything posted by Kuwabara. Would be great if Kikuchi really makes another appearance, though.

That pin-up's pretty bad-ass, by the way. I hope the H-Gun really means that Kurono's gonna get his hands on one pretty soon, either by A) getting 100 points quickly and choosing one (seems a little unlikely, at least for now); B ) taking one from another team (which means that next mission would be another team-up, or maybe we'll see the Osaka Gantzers again) or C) Izumi's H-Gun is already there in the room with the Gantz bike and sabers (my favourite theory) and Kurono sees it next time he checks the room.

Each time Katoy has appeared in a color page, he´s always with the extendable samurai sword and Katou the same but with the H-gun.

It´s only a matter of time before each of them gets it.

If the next mission will be like osaka I can tell that Kurono will be scoring the 100 in an instant.
And it'll all speaks for one overcrowded mission next. I hope a lot of them get the weapon upgrade and the vampires play team. And Izumi comes back.

Katou and Kurono were never an effective couple in combat. This time they have to show how they can lead the group to victory together.

Yea, hope we see get some Kikuchi and some answers. Another Kurono/Tae would be fuckin lame. Except for some hentai scenes like in the old days. Kekekekekekekekekeke

Katou died before he could work together with Kurono in double most excellent bad-ass-ness. Kurono back then was an asshole, than a limbless lumb of self-pity.

well, we'll get to see what the Tokyo Team's worth with their Oka Hachirou. After the global sub-par performance of the team (nishi/kaze/panda/katou/HS were the only scorers... 5 out of 10) I hope it's a dramatic difference, because as far as we know, Kurono is the only 'confirmed' extra member of the next mission. Well, with HS subbing for Izumi, we should be back at Oni arc power, with Nishi and Katou chipping some extra camping and team power respectively. Well we are down one ESP, but that's interesting as well. Up until now Sakata had done most of the in-mission thinking/ESP pawnage... interesting to see what cherry can do on his own.

I agree that the Tokyo Team's performance next mission is sure to be interesting. Katou and Kurono are a force to be reckoned with.

But I really wonder how Host Samurai and Kill Bill will fare now... They know they'll hve to hunt the aliens, but I just have trouble seeing them do it at the moment. If the next mission were to start now, I'm getting the impression that they would remain on the sidelines again and Host Samurai wouldn't act until the last moment, like with Nuri. That's why I'm anxious to see how it's going with the vampires off-room and have them make the conscience choice to pursue the 100 points next time.

If they wear the suits, they could be the team's most powerful members yet, but I wonder what's it gonna take to make HS really join the hunt.

^Agreed on that. Unless something dramatic happens off-mission, it's very likely HS will sit the next one out. But well, things could get even more interesting then - Imagine HS casually lighting a cig while the gantzers are killing aliens about him, and then a delegation of vamps from a different area pops up for their daily gantzer slaughter and finds him in the group...

That's an interesting possibility. I've personally been thinking that we might get a Vampire Mission next time (it would make sense that Gantz wants any and all distractions out of the way before the Katastrophe starts) and that Host Samurai will hesitate where his loyalties lie.

But the other vampires showing up to assist the aliens next mission could also be an interesting predicament. It would also keep up with their increasing role:

- The first time we saw them, they arrived at the end of the mission
- Next they were a threat off-mission
- Then they provided information to the Oni Aliens
- Went after Izumi and Kurono in full force

The next logical step would be for the vampires to be a serious nuisance while the Gantzers are trying to deal with an already considerable threat.
