Thread: Gantz 282 -283 Spoilers, Discussion, Prediction

It's a bit of annoying that Oku introduces new characters when everyone awaits upcoming developments about the future plot of this story.
Hope we get to see more of Nishi in those 4 missing pages.

Hope we get the full translation soon. This might sure be the prelude to some school life chapters.

The release of raw and translation is getting faster. Like next time we'll get the lq raw on mondays and the translation on tuesday o_O

Gantz is about as big as Gundam I guess in the subbing community. The HQ sub for G00 S2 Episode one was out within 48 hours...

This smells like filler plot coming up. Kurono vs. New guy.

But sure is good to get something different after the osaka arc.
Arc chapters are more stress for weekly followers.

You have to remember that, while there was a lot of chaos during the Oni Mission, the Gantzers didn't become visible until they started fighting the boss. Given that many bystanders had been killed by it, it doesn't surprise me that there was little footage of Kurono in action. And more importantly, Kikuchi (the reporter) told Kurono that some of the footage wasn't shown on TV.

Osaka is a different matter entirely, though. I don't know about the rest of the Tokyo Team (seeing as they weren't doing much until the end of the mission), but a TV crew must have caught Katou and most of the Osaka Gantzers at some point.

^^ Yea, they mentioned in the new chapters translation that there isn't much footage of that osaka incident fe. Guess the governments already knows what's cooking. Well, not the SDF (= LOL.
But maybe higher officials protecting the Gantzers for getting uncovered in their fight against the invasion. Wouldn't be unlogic if those strange alien murders and some info's about Gantz are already known to international agencies. Conspiracy... (=

^Ah, I see, I haven't taken a look at the translations yet.

Reminds of the incident with the last Chibi Alien. Some government official told Kurono, Izumi and Tae and everyone else that knew about it not to say anything. Looks like the government's realised just how bad a problem this is becoming and is pulling out all the stops to deal with the fall-out of the Osaka Mission.

Still not sure why, though. Is it just to try and keep the population from going into mass hysteria (like in 'Men In Black')? Or is there really some global conspiracy responsible for creating Gantz? I'm guessing it's the former and that the government doesn't know much more either.

England and france teams confirmed; somehow I don't expect the new characters to be hunters at all, this was another piss off chapter.
