Segment it and upload the files to different filehosters. That way, people can download part one from the first filehoster and part 2 from the other, and get the complete video much faster.
mediafire and 4shared are probably the best choices. With both of them, your files don't get deleted after a certain amount of days, unless you don't log into your account from time to time (once a month is enough). Even if you have a free account.
mediafire has no waiting time before and between downloads and a good speed, plus unlimited space. With 4shared you only have 5gb of space, but since it's the only other filehoster that stores files endlessly (for free accounts), you have to live with that.
And why do you want to abandon the project? Because there was little reaction or not enough downloads? It's not even been two months. I'd say having 100 downloads is not that bad. Surely, with time it will spread. And this is the internet. You can be certain that in the future other people will upload it themselves and spread it (if that hasn't already happened).
You can never know how many people got your stuff, only how many got it from you.
And having little reaction is no surprise too. Take it from someone who scanlates mangas. Very few people actually bother to thank you for your work. Hell, I know about it first hand and even I don't thank all the people that released what I read. That's just how it is.
In any case, don't stop doing this just because of such reasons. If you start something, finish it. Having just one episode float around the internet is no good.
