Ah, what I mean is they all have good personalities, FER ME.

Reika is considerate, passionate in some ways, and different than most people, let alone models.

Kei is different as well, maybe not exactly everyone's favorite but she has the tendency to fit everyone in her life, at least to try.

And Anzu is a laid back person and who wouldn't want some hot girl who was laid back, funny, and willing to save your friggin ass?

I don't get it... Why do so many people vote reika? She doesn't look much different, compared to the likes of kishimoto or Anzu and her personality is 2faced as well. She sais that, she loves kurono, but she wont bother reviving him, only because she can't be his gf, nor does she care about bystanders. She turned into a self centered, egoistic twat.

^Me, Trying to sound cool: If why people voted for Reika, Joo Understood, Then voted for her, Joo would have.
Reality Check - Anzu didn't care for bystanders either, until Katou changed her. Reika has only had limited Katou exposure, so you can't blame her for that. That being said, seeing Kurono die must have slammed home just how much she cared for him, as well as the general shock and she's was probably still reeling over that most of the mission. By the time she got her act together, it was time for Nuri.
Reality check 2 - Chapter 71 - Sei kicked back and relaxed with Kurono while Katou and the others went off to save the bystander.
On Reika not wanting to revive Kurono, that just shows the extent of her feelings for him (she did try to bring him into the room, and she did look at Katou the same way Cherry did when it was time for the points) - it's not that she doesn't want Kurono back, but it must be painful for her to bring him back to life only to have him run back to Tae without looking. It might look like she's "self-centered and egoistic" to you, but I VERY SERIOUSLY DOUBT any GIRL would make that kind of call without second thoughts... you'd have to be Virgin Mary for that... That hesitation has a lot to do with what makes Reika "real", as opposed to just an airhead model, and that's one of her appeal points to me.
At any rate, she merely 'contemplates' having a memory wipe instead of rezzing Kurono. I doubt she would have opted for memory and not reviving Kurono at the end of the day, but we'd have seen her agonizing over the choice for a long time.

I have to admit that I didn't vote for the best looking female but for the one I think will be a great Gantzer. Chiaki.
If it's about female qualities I would have voted for Reika.

k, maybe a reason, not to vote Anzu.

Kurono tryed to model himself after katou, trying to save as many people as possible. He focused on his own team in the dino arc and bystanders played a role as well, in later missions. She doesn't necessarily need katou for that.

The shock didn't last too long... By the time the mission breifing was over no1 seemed to care too much anymore. You might be thinking that her performance in the Nuri mission was effected by kuronos dead. I go with ''This Hunt is just too much for us the Aliens are on a completly different level". Breakpoint was Sakatas speech, she joined, because it was the easy way to solve this whole issue with Kurono, Tae and her (Sakata was right tho). She didn't get her act together all mission, only at the end of the mission, where katou told her what to do. Sniping something from a distance should'nt be a big deal even if you're lost or confused.

I should have said: Reika wouldn't want to waste her own points to revive Kurono. but She's fine with it, when somebody else does it. So, she gets another chance to fight for his love!!1 and again she chooses/had it the easy way.

    At any rate,
She didn't hesitate to tell kurono that she loves him, which I realy believe she does. she didn't think of the consequences or his relationship with tae. If she was no airhead at all, she would have said nothing and just left it.

Actually, with Sei, I believe even if she didnt run to get treaded on by the statue, she drove the bystanders car away in plain view, thus making him chase after it away from the battle.

... So she did save the bystander after all

Kurono was different from Katou as a leader. Very different. If you compare the magnitude of "helping out" in Kurono's book to what it was for katou, Kurono came nowhere close (helping nishi, who had just killed a participant in room, for example). She may not "necessarily" need katou, but as far as setting the example is concerned, kurono may not have gone far enough to instill that in them. Kurono's advice was mainly on how to survive, not how to minimise civilian casualties. That being said, don't leave everything up to me - there are only 3missions besides the osaka mission that reika participated in - dyno, tae, and oni. I can't think of anything kurono did there to instill, "don't just concentrate on surviving, but help bystanders as well" into the other gantzers.

Realising that the aliens are on a completely different level came later, once the aliens started pawning the osakans and it became clear that the tokyo team would somehow need to involve themselves. It wasn't obvious from the outset. I'm not saying that kurono's death was the only factor in her decision to hold back, but it's something to factor in. At any rate, it's absolutely impossible for her performance (and everybody else's for that matter) not to have been affected by kurono's death AT ALL. It may not be 50%, but it sure as hell aint zero. At any rate, the osakans made it clear they didn't want the tokyo gantzers butting in, and remembeing that "y'all can sit back and watch" it was a somewhat threatening comment, especially after how they had almost come to blows a few seconds ago. As for nobody not "seeming to care", i don't think that equates into nobody not "caring"

On Sei. Basically Katou rushed in without thinking, kishimoto was one step behind, and homo/sadako were there to help him keep the foot from flattening the old man. Kurono's reaction as it happened was "it's got nothing to do with us". Sei act until AFTER Katou was holding the foot. Even when she ran off to drove the car off, that was only once her team mates' lives were at stake (or after some Katou-ish inspiration). My point is that helping bystanders is not something that was part of Reika/Sei/Anzu naturally to begin with.

Ok, translation differences aside, Reika doesn't say that she wouldn't revive Kurono. She says that "even if she revives him, he will not love her, so she might be better off forgetting everything". She is merely considering the possibilty, not saying she'll act on it. As for her being fine with someone else reviving, well if you find that disagreeable, her saying "no don't revive him" would have been more disagreeable.

She knew about his relationship with Tae and the possible consequences, which is why, the two times she said it at 186,(ok not clear) but kurono seems to be gone when she says, and she seems to be aware of that. The other time, at 221, she tells it to him WHILE he is warping out, aware that's his memory is gonna be erased, and it won't affect his future.
All of that being said, girls in love don't behave rationally, and from his "wh.." response, this seems to indicate Kurono didn't hear at 186, whether she intended him to or not. In other words, this would be her very last chance of telling him how she felt. If she hadn't she'd have lived her life regretting not having told him.
At any rate, she doesn't take advantage of the moment at 185, where kurono is crying his arse off. If she had given him a hug then (and a fuck, given how kurono is) she'd have pocketted him.

I'll just differ on this one. Kurono helped saving Izumi, which killed Tae. Of course, that happened after Kurono already got a bit more of development and therefore doesn't really fit in the idea of him getting Reika to find him a marvelous man and blah, but still, just thought I'd point that out to be annoying.
