I thought about this a long time ago. Imagine it: the servers would be countries, so the player chooses which city to start in. There would be multiple rooms (the most populated cities of said country) and you randomly enter one. Aliens, well, there's lots of creative people out there, so I don't think there'll be a lack of species. The problem comes with the 100 point menu. What'd happen when you choose #1?

Well, if you got sick of a character then it just deletes it so you can create a new character.

Well, that would be if it were an action game. Maybe there can be a transmigration system like in Disgaea or something like that if it were an rpg.

Or option one could be like how it is in the manga. There can be a dialog box explaining how you can never truly escape from Gantz and you end up right back in the game. I would rather not have any character lvls, but instead have it be skill and item based. So if you clear the game a couple of times of course you're gonna have better weapons and more experience( like actual experience) than some noob just starting it.
One foreseeable problem is what would be the drive of the game? Say you've completed it like 5 times, why play it any more? Maybe if it kept an overall score. Like you get 100 pts and you pick option 2, your pts disappear but the game keeps record of you gaining 100pts. So that if you clear it 5 times your overall score is 500pts. Option 2 doesn't just have to be weapons either. It could be better equipment in general and maybe fashionable items as well. |

That's kinda why you need a level system or something.
The PVP would be interesting. Make your own alien or just gantzer on gantzer. They could make a lot of cool maps too. Just pick every major city in the world. |
