I mean in their universe of course but
I was rereading 108 and I realized that Kurono mentions that government officials told him to keep quiet about the alien incident, so I was wondering,

Does the government know about Gantz himself?

My speculation is part of them do, based on the Heaven's Door group in Germany and that no-one really thought the Chibi was an alien per se, obviously not human, but none of the police or even Izumi called it an alien.

Ive written before about my thoughts on this, so I'll keep it brief - I believe the German group is a masonic group which has agents in wordly governments. They may have created the Gantz orbs or adapted them from alien tech. The people in the Gantz may be agents of this group.

Thats all I really got atm. We really dont know enough yet.

Btw, one ending of the Gantz ps2 game shows Kurono is the guy inside Gantz.

There has been unexplainable phenomena that governments have tried to cover up for years. Chances are they know the explanation, or they just want laypeople people to know even less then they do for the purpose of high ground. It's either the former or the latter for this case.

The number of civilian and military casualties in Osaka is enormous. Maybe about 100 - 200 non-Gantzers killed by aliens.
I wouldn't wonder if some of the Gantzers will get governmental visits after this arc is over to explain what the fuck is going on.

But if the government was aware of Gantz, surely they wouldn't mess with it: if it decides to blow the cover of the missions, which it has done, I doubt the government would intervene. And besides, a politician was in Gantz and knew nothing about it in the very first mission.

On Topic: Umm, you'd think the government would want to actively support gantz. In fact they might try to get people "on the inside" by having volunteers die, assuming they haven't already. I have been expecting an "insider" for quite some time now...
