Thread: Gantz PS2 Game...

I just recently joined this site to find out any information I can about the Gantz game. I have been looking at all the topics about the game on this board, but can't find what I am looking for. I was wondering, who are all the playable characters? To anyone who has an answer, thank you!

If you wanted to find out any information you could on the gantz game, you sure didn't try very hard. There's the search button, there are two threads called FAQ and Help, and a general discussion thread.
As for playable Chars and stuff, there's the official website by Konami. "Gantz: The Game" Official Konami Website
It's in Jap, but it has videos and stuff. A quick google/wiki gets you that.

But you are right... i did jump the gun posting that... for my defense, i will claim that i am garr for the gantz FAQ... not much of a defense, i know lol... oh well, we'll see in a weeks time or so...

I appreciate the help, really I do. But, I just wanted to know the playable characters. Basically, I just want to know if I can play as Izumi, that is it.

No, as far as I know, No Izumi. It ends just before Izumi appears, at the Chibi Alien Arc. All Big Chars appearing before then can be unlocked and used, i think. Was in Jap, so didn't play for long, but I am 99% sure there's no Izumi.

Chibi Alien? As in where Kurono Kei fights the 9 small men by himself? And I understand about the posting rules and whatnot, but when I need an answer concerning something I might be potentially buying, I would like to have a straight answer.

Yes Izumi is in the game,

and if you beat the game with a perfect score you get a special cut scene where Izumi finally takes off his suit and just stands there for about 5 minutes naked while the credits role.


PS if you really want to look at the game do a youtube search there is plenty of info on their.

@Kusanagi: If you know, but can afford not to care about posting rules "and what not" when you want a straight answer, give me a good reason why anyone should feel compelled to give you one in the first place?
... "sigh" sorry, just venting my frustration. On Izumi, sorry, I didn't mean to mislead you or anything. I really didn't know he was there. Anyway, the game picks up the manga up to the Chibi Aliens, which are the small thingies Kurono fights alone. There is then a "special" game-only chapter involving Tae and Vampires...
