ok a couple of questions:
would it be wise to make a scanlated version of the last chapter making it so oka didnt die and make a Topic about it?
and
i was working on a gantz mod for quake3 and made a thread that is buried like 4 or 6 pages, would it be wise to necro that thread just to say "i started working on this again btw" or should i wait to have concrete work to post?

If you wish to discuss anything related to the latest chapter, do so in either the “Latest Manga Chapter Discussion” or the latest release thread. There’s no need for more than one thread relating to the same chapter. However, if you still wish to proceed with your project, you’re more than welcome to post it in either of those threads upon completion.

I don’t recommend doing so until you‘ve made substantial progress, though if you were to do so in order to ask for help or something, that’s an entirely different story; in that case, I don’t see why it would be a problem

^Umm, we all say "don't just nec" but it's not really hard to make it more than "just a nec". E.g. "I started working on this again" is almost a nec, but "I started working on this again, the following have already been covered, now tackling the following, can anyone help?" is what i'd call a useful/concrete post

Speaking of Kei-Kun, I'll translate the page he requested today. Was supposed to do it on sunday, but got sidetracked by a party.
On gantz-otaku, I know I translated two pages and working on a third, but I have no idea of what the global completion rate looks like. Will pm kei-kun and give you an update when I have the answer.

I think, I remember your old thread, but I'm not sure. Just look through the archive which one it is. There were three projects like this...

Omanga's scans of Gantz was a joint-venture project with The Band of the Hawks. Though the download links on omangas homepage don't work anymore, you can still download the torrents from the hawks site: Band of the Hawk Bittorrent -- /hawks/bt/Gantz

Hawks & Omanga came only till volume 7 though.

I know it probably wont happen but Id like the points I found on the Gantz weaponry and equipment from my thread stickied, maybe with the points for the hunts deatiled in the Manual for noobs to check out so we dont get stupid posts (or maybe edited into the faq).

I looked thru the archive, and I guess it's this one: Weapons levels

Had no time to look at all pages yet, but if you think it's verified you should copy-pasta it's content into the FAQ thread. Won't hurt anyone, plus if it's useful info it shouldn't be buried unseen in the archive. Well, the FAQ thread has already book size, but I think there are a lot of intelligent lurkers and first readers who still take their time to read that one...
