Most likely, yeah, I guess so. But considering how fucking indestructable Nuri has been so far, I wouldn't put it past Oku at this point. -_-'

epic but bshitful, i dunno where nuri went to look for oka, but man that was fast....
maybe the area got shrink so much in a way that he couldnt do his plan or hide...
and what would a little bomb in the head do to nuri if he got cut into pieces, melted by laser, shooted with x and h guns.
Actually, I don't think Katou really meant to distract him - he is the kind of guy who'd actually be interested in hearing Nuri's opinion. If Nuri had been less ... "opaque" about his intentions (as in he had shown some sign that he can be redeemed), katou'd probably have turned round and screamed "NOOOOOOOOO DON'T SHOOT!!!"
As for oka... man 1000+ posts on a guy who gets owned so hard he's killed off-screen...
Anyway, assuming Nuri has not been killed (okay, more than a mere assumption...) then at least, look at things on the bright side - Oka is out, so as far as characters to which we have been introduced to are concerned, HS, and the five others are the only ones left. Progressing at this very steady pace, over the last few chapters, of one character going down per chapter, the end can't be very far...

Somehow, even though almost interesting, I find the aliens being also manipulated theory quite weak. There's a list of reasons as to why, mainly, Tae was at no point recruited, other aliens have been attacked in what seemed to be their homes and where doing nothing out of the ordinary, suggesting they haven't been in any way brought together by a superior force. The Oni themselves just assembled because they knew the position of the hunters (that's stated in the dialogue between the Oni boss and HS). We don't even know if Nuri knows what he's on about. The aliens doesn't necessarily have any greater knowledge. The Tengu knew the "common language" but didn't know of the existence of the vampires (or so he told them). And also, as already stated, a bomb inside Nuri'd head wouldn't do shit, he can mold his body, he can regenerate, and etc. I know disregarding a theory this early sounds a bit arrogant, but at least to me it's very clear that the sudden explosion of half his chest is a result of their plan, regardless of Katou expecting it to happen anytime soon or not because he suddenly found friendship in the strongest alien around.
@ Shin: Able to fight: Anzu, Reika, Katou, Sakurai (suit on), Osakan woman A(suit on), Osakan woman B(suit on), HS.
Limbless or wounded: Nerdo, Kaze, Chigusa, Suzuki, Nishi, Inaba, Takeshi & Kuwabara.
"Others": Osakan old man, Osakan old lady, Osakan little kid.
We might still have a long way to go...

I can imagine an scenario were the Glasses guy is the only survivor of the Osaka Team...
This sucks...also i think Anzu would die.
^ Maybe she'll live and bring in the money to the newly formed Katou household.
It'd be so damn cliché if she died. Oku's makind me sad, you know.
Sudden bet! Knob's girl steals the kill and bring him back to life. Such a waste of fine points...
T-T
I was bored and thought of reason why the plan just can't work...Anyway, As much as i don't like it, If Nuri r0lled Oka in such a short time, he would defo. know where Oka was and anybody else is, cause simple searching would take him quite long. So basicaly a suprise attack or attacking out of the range of his senses is almost impossible. Only if you're close up and he lets his guard down, (cause he thinks he won or w/e) makes him vulnerable for surprise(s).
