Just curious, of all the background/minor characters that have died throughout the series, which ones have interested you the most and made you think "What if they didn't die?" and perhaps curious what their lives could have been like.

For me, I would have liked to see more about Sei. It was really depressing that she died so early without really getting to have any chance to develop with Kei. While I love Tae, I would have liked to have seen how that relationship would have worked out. Plus, she really did seem like an interesting character, although not really fleshed out enough to know a lot about her.

And more of a slightly mainish-character, I'd like to know more about Nishi's life outside of Gantz. We never really get to see even a glimpse of what he's like out in the real world. Would be interesting to see, specially after his one little mini-speech after the fight with the Tanaka alien.

Togo all the way. Sei too. Actually, it was such a good crew to die at the Budha mission...

The thing about Sei is she certainly had issues, to go that far for a man who just wanted to have sex with her because she was hot and looked easy and that makes her character very interesting. Though I wonder if there'd be such intensity if she actually got out alive, taking away the marvel of the sacrifice.

As for our dear Sniper, well, guess there isn't much more to say except that he rocked. And he was also a team player. So far haven't seen anyone doing anything as neat as he did back then, except maybe for Kuwabara. (imho of course)

And about Nishi, I think we'll be seeing more of him now because he's the only source of information. I have a hunch Kikuchi will try to contact him (maybe if he notices Nishi's website will be finally updated after this mission). And Kikuchi, for sure, is another character that'd be nice to see more of. And adding for the dead ones, Akira Kurono (damn that HS taking out all the good characters)

it would have been crazy if those 4 black guys from america in the kappe alien mission were still alive. one of them could have been the next george lol. it would b soo funny if they went bac to america and the nex day gantz summoned them bac to tokyo again for a mission, they would have no money to get bac to america hahaha

^ The black guys might have been an interesting addition, but I think Oku took them out for strategic reasons; they seemed like tourists, right? I mean, they were in Japan and didn't speak Japanese. So, to avoid all the troublesome transfer implications, he had to take them out.
But had they survived, they'd certainly join the training sessions and most likely do reasonably well (hell, if an old man a child and a celebrity can, why wouldn't they be able to fare well too?)

I think Togo was just a reference to the Golgo 13 manga, though it's kinda sad that he has weak chances of ever coming back. I liked the Homo/ Sadako couple and Sei, but I think they were only movie references by Oku,too (Ringu, Lara Croft). By far the dead crew of the Buddha mission was peculiar memorable. If Kurono comes back somehow, I hope the chances of Sei's resurrection will be high.

Kyou from Osaka was the most interesting character recently. I really would like to know if he was behind the point allocation tech we saw when he rescued Nerdo and spotted out Nuri as the 100 pointer. And George of course. What a huge disappointment to see him die after his excellent fight against the Kitsune...

Also, I'd like to have seen more of the black tourists and George. Yeah, that's about it... Maybe some more Kyou and hopefully we will see more Kuwabara.

I am also a togo fan, but i doubt he'll be back anytime soon. He dosent have any ties with any of the Gantz members. Perhaps another soldier who died would replace him...

And about the Wu Tang Clan from the dino arc. If they survived and went back to america, they would probably be summoned by a gantzsphere in or near their hometown. Logic isn't it?

I dont think that Kurono would bring Sei back straight away though, cos when he slept with her he was thinking about Kishimoto and when he had a choice of team mates to bring back, he said "Ki..." at first which suggests when he thought of the two girls he was going to go for Kishimoto. Really, Sei was Kurono's rebound girl to get over Kishimoto, but the thing is, he still hadnt by time we get to the Oni mission's end.

well i would like to see more about kishimoto x katou

SAI of course. even tho i doubt we'll get to see her again.

and the sniper guy, but seeing him again is even more unlikely then sai.
