That makes me wonder what's Inaba's life like out of the room?
We haven't really got a clue. We know he has a thing for Reika, wants to stand out, and possibly is/was jealous of Kurono. And maybe he has a little bit of morals, since he didn't join the rapists offer that time.
as for offering a weapon, that could've saved that guys life, though directly saving it would certainly be more effective ^^'
I personally liked the guy with the boa on the buddha mission. Sure, he didn't have Togo's skill, but damn! He took a 10 foot tall alien statue all on his own with no suit or weapons! And he seemed like a pretty cool guy, unlike many we've seen in the manga. Out of all of the people in the Buddha mission to die, I think his and his friend's were the saddest. Right when they thought they were safe thanks to the suit. Unfortunate.
I'm still trying to figure out my feelings and opinions about the osaka guys, so I'm not gonna comment much on those.
But I'll have to agree with you, Angryman. The guy with the boa did seem pretty interesting. It would have been cool to see how he'd interact with the rest of the group if he had survived the mission. I also kinda like hte karate guy, he was pretty kick ass until he got his neck all twisted and stretched xD
I wanna know more about Rice. Any dog that has interest in kishimoto's genital is a-ok in my book.
Good Times
Is the stupid panda still alive? I wonder why Gantz brings in animals too?
Beside that the "Freak Parade" was a nice group of asshole losers.
There are also those salarymen Reika led during the Oni mission. Somehow I can't really see them as more than cannon fodder, but they could be on to something, being more "serious" people or something; I don't know why, but I can't see the Tokyo team, and not even Kurono as curious enough. Damn, someone in the Osaka team plugged a computer to an x-gun at some point. Makes me think our Tokyo heros are a bit slow or something. Cherry and Sakata haven't even tried scanning Gantz...
The Homo/ Sadako couple, if they had survived the Buddah mission (or if they are ever revived, which is nearly impossible), they could develop an interesting relationship to watch, especially how the homo would react to his "advance" to Sadako just before they died and how that would influence her to better or worse.
Did someone note how many chars in Gantz already died?
It seems 2/3 of a crew with noobs get whipped out, well the Oni mission was different...
Yeah, I noticed that a while back.
As for Hoi-Hoi, they havent shown her death, but they didnt to Butter Dog in the manga either (from the manual it seems like he ran out of the mission area, he wouldnt have been crushed like the anime shown, as he had a suit and he would have been protected, unless repeatedly hit)
