Thread: Gantz 273 RAW

As much as this boss-fight is dragging on, I'm glad to see at least one member of the Tokyo Team kicking some ass. If Kaze dies next chapter, then at least he goes out with a bang.

I also agree with Shin about Nuri. Perhaps Oku has a more elaborate ending planned for Nuri. One thing's for certain: I think he's made the point that Nuri is worth every one of his 100 points. Which makes me wonder if we're going to see any other one in any next missions.

I hope the next few are going to be interesting in their own way, but not with another 100-pointer.

The tokyo team is not taking turns with nuri, they are pretty much just runing away.

Wow, this chapter like so many others lately didn´t advance the plot in any way but shit, this fight was fucking awesome.

I didn't say that the chapter was bad, the action was good as usual... I only wanted some progress, but theres none, yet again. Just another rather pointless fight. When Oka can't kill nuri atm, what could kaze possibly do in hand-to-hand combat.

@Shini: I never intended to say, that Oku should just kill off the boss with some lame way or anything near to the oni-boss's death.

In the end It was so clear that kaze would go berserk, anything else would've been out of his character

I hope after this fight we get 15+ chapters of character development or story progression because this is getting ridiculous.

Something I'm wondering about Nuri...

Firstly, Nuri looked ticked off when Kaze started punching the crap outta it. Secondly, as soon as it seemed like Nuri was going to get thrashed, it pulled out it's insides...these happened one after the other. Now to me it seems like Nuri didn't see Kaze as a threat, was getting hit around and covered itself in case the worst should happen: by removing it's organs. Think about it, it's intestines looked more like brains, and it seemed happy to pull them out.

Also think about when Oka sliced it up the middle: Nuri wasn't looking its usual happy self, and it took longer for it to regenerate than usual.

There must be some kinda link here :s

Ticked off? It kept taunting Kaze the whole time. Nuri tore out its organs to intimidate Kaze.

Nuri has been liquefied by Nishi why should destroying its organs do more damage then that?

Nuri did not take that longer to recover, perhaps it was thinking about what to do next.

I have an idea: could this missione end without the death of nuri? And with some of the gantzer of Tokyo & Osaka team alive?

^ maybe if there was a timer. This is too ridiculous tho. I bet even if you evaporated nuri after liquifying him he'd come back buu style.
