But, this is the first time Nuri's head is actually blown, right? I mean, only the head.
Not that I believe it died or anything, just now maybe he'll be vulnerable (same ol expectation ^^ )

^^ Sending and killing both give the same amount of points contrary to the arlier belief sending would halve the points.

i guess your comment wasnt serious, was it?

there is not the sligthest indidcation that the alien must be damaged to use the y-gun. and even if that where the case, none of them knows it.

furthermore there is also no indication that using the y-gun lowers the points. plus they also couldnt know that.

and risking their lives against an enemy like that and still caring for the points by using specific killingmethods is not really the brightest idea.

About the damage theory, it's valid. Think about last bosses (this had already been brought up before, i'm sure); you kill it a first time, then it changes its shape, and then again until it finally reaches a final shape, after it's been damaged enough. Of course we have no real proof to believe so, but we have no real proof to believe otherwise either. Tiring him, as several people have considered before, might be the way to defeat Nuri. And getting killed and regenerating over and over should be tiresome. But than again, maybe not.
Lately, I think Nuri will be killed by an unkown flying anvil, which will utterly crush him in a very mysteryous and powerful way.

And thinking about points related to the type of kill is not even an idea, since there isn't really a difference in point handling related to the kill (at least there wasn't until now, and I don't think it would change)

As for chapter 273, it was ok, but Kaze trembling was kind of weird. I mean, Katou has witnessed way more than Kaze did and wasn't trembling, so it was a bit of a "duh" moment. I guess this chapter looked nice because it seemed the team was actually gaining ground, which makes me really pissed at Oku's final comment, killing our hopes two weeks earlier than usual ¬¬
He could at least usa some dumb not really ambiguous line like "Has Kaze done it..?!" and then next chapter we'd get "no".

Actually, in the Gantz game, they give you more points (thrice the 'normal' amount I believe) if you use the Y-Gun.

i believe kaze will not die but only dying/injured if scenario gone bad

They do not give x3 points for the y-gun. The Gantz manual says Onion child is 1 point, whilst Onion dad is 3 points. Nishi got 3 points for the mission by sending Onion dad.
