Right, we know that the X-gun and -rifle both use nanomachines that explode inside the target, right? (At least, wikipedia says this :S) Would it then be safe to assume that the Palm-Ray gun is really just a more concentrated version of that? It has a delay while it powers up, and when it hits there is an "explosion" as such, followed by more and more of these holes, before the energy is dispersed.
I know it's wild speculation, but what the hell![]()
