    The word "H-Gun" was also fan-made. Oku never said the real name or mentioned it in the manga, yet. I remember some people said "BFG" for a while, but H-Gun was better to keep with the "letter-guns".

    So, O-Gun would perfectly match.

    Perhaps the H-gun makes a giant, ungodly heavy thing come down like Thor's hammer and smite everything in the area. The heavy thing is transported to and from areas by, say, the same place aliens are transported when sent by a y-gun. Other than that, all I can think of is the gun distorts physics in the area to recreate some form of incredibly strong force, IE kinetic energy or inertia. I doubt even Oku has thought that through completely D:.

    **Edit: ah, looks like you guys moved way past the H-gun thing D: my bad

    O-palm! O-palm!
    Indeed, none of phase 2 new equipments have received official names.
    As far as that's concerned, the "h-gun" could even be referred to as "g-gun" since apparently it deals with gravity. The "g-suit" naming at first reminded me of Metroid once again... if memory serves the last armor Samus receives is also called "g-suit".
    However, although we might go with o-pam/ray/gun, that might be a piece of equipment which isn't really intended to have that sort of name, since it's a part of the super-suit, like the elbow blades.

    EDIT: Angryman ¬¬
    Oh, why do people have to post one or two minutes before when I'm stil writing? ~;
    This has happened a lot lately, guess I'm too slow nowadays.

    About the mechanics of the h-gun, I agree on the part about the possible satelyte or whatever "up" to which the y-gun victims are sent (oh, how I'd like to see that being tested on a human/fellow hunter!), in which case I think the h-gun would set out the coordinates and then the "magic hammer" would be sent. But actually, I think your second option is more likely to be "the right one". It's a big... fucking... gun after all, so it should be self-sufficient. (I don't even know if this term exists in English)

    According to the Gantz Manual it says that the X-Gun and the X-Shotgun use a high compressed energy for the blast, not nanomachines.

    O-Palm? why not X-Palm... I mean, rifle, gun, palm... one of my friends used to call the H-gun the X-Bazooka, but since it obviously doesn't work like the guns, that doesn't really make sense. Of course, I am assuming that the palm uses the same nano technology as the rifle/gun, and therefore is not a different class of weapon, like the H-Gun (hence, the different letter).

    ^Because it doesn't work the same way as an X gun. It's different.

    I just figured the O-palm was a laser device. Its centred on a Suit meter and its attacks cut cyclindrical holes through a target then explode when they hit a more solid object.

    As for the 100 point equipment, so far we've seen;

    1 H-Gun
    2 Giant Robot
    3 Suit Armour (including an x-ray vision capable helmet)
    4 Flight Bike
    5 Power Fists (with elbow blades and o-palms)

    There are still two things missing, though the Point Scope could be an item, as could the things in seperate brackets Ive noted above. Though it doesnt seem the suit isnt bought seperately, I believe that at least the Power Fists are, as they could be removed and placed in hanging weapon racks on the Flight Bike, which is probably where Oka originally stored his H-Gun before using it.

    @ Exelm: Man, a great many thanks to you!

    I'm so relieved the x-equipment doesn't use nanomachines. It's made my day.
    I really disliked that nanomachines idea for some reason.
    Now I'll cheerfully bear a smile.

    @ Ikari: I'm not sure you should consider the super-knuckles/power-fists/whatever as being separated from the suit lvl2; I think the new suit comes with the whole package. And take notice that although you can easily take your arms off of the super-knuckle, the item is still connected to the rest of the suit.
    As for the point scope, it's neat, but if we think about improvements and 100 points weaponry, something that provides more kills instead of more info would seem more reasonable, but then again, this is speculation. However, there is the issue of that thing connected to the x-gun and Kyou's computer not being Gantz-branded things... not black, and bla bla bla etc etc
    EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention, we aren't sure whether the flight bike and the mech are 100 prizes as of yet; they could be just vehicles stored in that other room, or somewhere else, in case of the mech, made available to whoemever already has a super-suit (given it need the cables). But flight indeed is a big advantage and the mech would be so too (if it didn't end up seeming so weak...), so, "who knows?" 2nd manual, 2nd manual! Please, Oku, sir

    @ Shin: o-palm sounds so good... other possible letters? Let's see, "e-palm" for energy, or "b-palm" for burst? O-palm is nifter!

    Exelm? ZOMFG, how come I did not see that post... man IZ you for real? IZ you sure? NO NANOS!!!!!!!! GAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR I IZ FARKING HAPPY!
    For the record, i also disliked the nanotech explanation, but I just happened to wake up one day, and everyone was like - "it's a nanotech bomb"... I was like, are you sure for a few posts, and then someone actually mentioned the manual (i can't remember who) so i just stopped complaining and just went with the flow.
    That said, could actually post the Kanji for it an the translation on the gantz FAQ, just so we can shut up anyone who says otherwise?
