Thats working well.
Maikeru watched as a few of his teammates fired at the floating mask thing to no avail. Looking at his own gun, he decided he wasn't going to join in.
Alright smart-ass. Use your head.
Maikeru observed the alien through the scope. The only solid part of it seemed to be the mask. On top of that, it seemed to be doing something to the canal water.
River Spirit Alien dumb-ass.
Kneeling down and setting his rifle on the railing, Maikeru took aim at the actual mask. Taking aim using both the X-Ray screen and the scope, Maikeru pulled the trigger. Nothing.
"What the fuck?"
He checked the gun. For some odd reason, it had two triggers. He had pulled the top one to no avail. Still holding it in top trigger, he took aim again and pulled the second trigger. It fired.
Don't fucking miss...
Engaging invisibility like Tomoe showed everyone, he got up and moved towards Dino and Tomoe.
Bloodied, battered and bruised Andre tries to gather himself. This is just the kind of thing that got him banned from the NFL .
Andre's accident 5 years ago.
Andre can't believe he was so freakin' stupid. Now his mood has changed again. He begins to pick up his gear which has been scattered about due to his failed jump attempt. He finds the controller, x-gun and both swords. Some items scuffed but no worse for wear. Apparently the riffle and y-gun met the same fate as the bike. Then he picks up one last thing, his shades. Despite what he told everyone he got them just because they were cool. Andre would never wear something just for safeties sake. He smiles and observes what's happening around him. He's back to his old self again.
He saw everyone shooting at the alien so he took aim and shot too...

Jack looked on at the people shooting at the river spirit alien. He started to sweat a little bit, despite what everyones been saying it was still a shock to see an actual alien. He turned towards Naomi. "So, what do you wanna do? should we join those guys?"
Standing on the road holding on to Andre's pouch of goodies, he saw Andre zoom towards the ramp and crashed. Takezo laughed at Andre's misfortune. Luckly Andre emerged out from the wreck and started picking up his equipment. Takezo walked towards him when he noticed another guy had also taken a tumble in to the canal, it was the guy who had been dressed in the hospital gown when he emerged in the room.

"I think i'll be moving out on my own, probably up north and cross the canal from there. Things seem to be turning sour here, not to mention that the bosswoman (Tomoe) doesn't seem to be able to cut it as leader. No way am i going to stick my head out for someone who's clueless. You can come if you want." He paused for a moment and wondered if he was listening. Andre was firing his gun.
Takezo turn towards the road leading north and turn his head back and motioned a thumbs up at Andre. "See you soon, Bikerman." Takezo took a few step forward and stopped. He tossed something at Andre and then continued running north. It was Andre's goodie bag.
Shin pulled himself up from the water and let out a loud exhale. He couldnt swim and he hated the thought of any deep water.
Throwing his long wet hair behind his head, slicking it back he gathered his senses in time to see everyone else shooting at the River Spirit Alien that was extremely close to him.
"Oh... I'm gonna die!" whispered Shin in a panic.
Shin was caught in a state of embarrassment for not making the jump and panic for the enemy being so close. It didnt even cross his mind why the Big Man made the jump but no-one else could. However, he could see that what happened to the Crazy from the room was not happening now to the alien. Looking down on his own, he realised xshotguns had no effect.
"They dont work... think... think.." whispered Shin.
A flash of panic and thinking under pressure gave Shin a flashback to when he saw someone used the ygun. Nets. Physical nets. Either that or its a cutting wire. He had to find out. Holding his xshotgun down in his left hand, he pulled the ygun from his hip with his right.
Shin took aim visually and remembered what he was told. Hold both triggers. An image of the mask appeared on the scope as he pulled the triggers. With that Shin used the ygun at the alien's mask.
Andre pauses firing when he sees his bag of goodies on the ground. "Oh yeah kid ... use your radio if you get deep in the shit!" Andre didn't know if the kid heard what he said any more than he heard what the kid said. No matter he had his candy now and continued to fire again.

The mist had coagulated into a large orb that engulfed the team inside the canal. Neither the alien nor those within the canal are visible. To the people inside the canal, you can barely see each other, let alone the alien. Suddenly, somebody lets out a miserable scream. It is none other than David Shonas, the half-Native American, half-Irish man who had never bothered to post...er, speak. The nearest person to him, Maikeru, turns to him to witness the upper half of his body smoothly slide off of the lower half and land with a sickening "Plop".

Would they have to fight against it with their melee weapons, or was this something that only happened now and would end soon.
Damnit, what is it about this fog? It was getting thicker every second. She could hear something that sounded like rain. By that, she could barely see anything apart from the bike. Then, she heard a sickening, damp sound from afar... but not from too far away. And now she knew that this fog had to be one of the alien's powers, one of its strengths. At this rate, it would probably kill them one by one, using the cover of the fog to be completely invincible. Naomi felt a clam fear inside her.
"We have to get to the others, right NOW", she whispered, while drawing her sword. Maybe this would have more effect than the gun, if they met it in the fog... but she prayed that it wouldn't come to that.
Koi stopped firing when he saw the fog turn into some weird orb, he couldn't properly think of what could possibly be happening, other than at this point being in the canal is a bad idea, and possibly being on ground level is just as bad of an idea. "If anyone in the mist can hear me get the hell out of there, we don't know what it's capable of yet!" Then turning to Sean he says "Stop firing right now I think being on ground level is in general a bad idea right now, so lets head for a nearby rooftop, best we can do to possibly help them right now is try to kill that thing." Then just as he says it an idea pops into his head. An idea he should have had the second he saw the creature. "x-ray." he whispers. Immediately he runs to the nearest building to climb to its roof. Once on top he aims inside the mist and uses the x-ray function on the rifle to try and find where the alien might be.

Takezo was almost at the bend of the canal when he heard a scream coming from where he had came from. SH!T... What was that? He turned around. The rest of the group were in the distance. Takezo could barely make them out but it was the orb which had engulfed the canal where the group were that caught his attention. Where did that come from? he wondered but he was certainly glad that he didn't hang around when that appeared. Takezo turned back heading towards the bend when the thought hit him; BIKERMAN, he's still back there!
Takezo reached for the walkie talkie and hit the transmit button, "Bikerman! what's going on back there? Hello? Can you hear me? Answer dammit!"
