Makes me wonder if they can talk to outsiders now that the hunts are exposed.
If people haven't noticed yet it can't be long until someone notices Reika. She is a celebrity after all.
People will ask her many questions.
Would be funny if she gave an interview and suddenly her head would blow up.
Umm... good question... is Gantz good or bad?
Short Answer: I don't know.
Long Answer: There simply isn't enough material to work with. So far, Gantz has not shown anything that can be tied to human emotions, exception made for his somewhat humoristic Nickname system and his GeekTalk. He may still be an impersonal machine with set objectives (hence the lack of morality), some Kind of Greek God in search of entertainment (hence the lack of morality), or some kind of twisted genius with a Master Plan, the evolution of mankind/cleansing the earth/whatnot (hence the lack of morality). The only certain thing is that the notion of "a human having value" is foreign to him.
That said, just to build on something I said recently - At the heart of Gantz, and behind every chapter, there is this question - What is Gantz? This answer is very slowly given to us, using the evolution of individual Gantzers as a medium. The day we find an answer to that question, either the manga will end, or the end will not be far.
I like 1HP's ideas about Gantz personally.
Area 51 is an american thing, isn't gantz a bigger thing in japan?(talking about in manga world)

You know other countries would love to get a piece of the action.
However... Gantz seems to be something beyond our imaginations. Just look at the SDF's comments in the Osaka Arc.
Thank you. After all... why would another alien kill its kin? It doesn't make much sense does it? Although I'll admit it is one of the more stale and predictable plot twists Oku could come up with I truly believe a human mastermind with enough connections would reasonably explain almost everything from the Leet Speek to the limitations of the technology and recent disreguard of rules as the alien threat has clearly started to evolve into a more volatile unified front.

I also have to wonder about the cover-ups, for what reason would the Chibi alien get covered up but when the Oni hunt happens, the Gantz team is covered up but the knowledge of aliens is left in the public domain (despite many thinking it was filming or some kind of PR outside of bukero)?
Btw, 100 posts, I am teh l33t Haxxor!!! Gimme a H-Gun!
Every one has only one soul and only body. When you dead you soul leave your body and come to ...,with out soul ,we cannot live and cannot exist. In gantz, the blackball can do both of thing???
I don't know what is it ,but it is a special thing in this story .
^... ehh... man... I don't know what to say :-) Mucho Metaphysical man... actual, that's probably part of what bugs Cherry's Sensei... One soul/one body is pretty much the accepted rule these days... Gantz doing otherwise has a lot to do with "making life cheap"
^^ Except for Kishimoto and all the discussion that comes along with that.
Just so old arguments don't show up again, there's this thread:
