Default How many times have you read through Gantz and what made you start reading it?

I'm not exactly a new member to StopTazmo, but I've never posted here before. I think I'll start here.

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before, but like I said, I'm new here and I want to get a lay of the land and see what this forum is all about.

Anyway, I'm reading through Gantz a second time. I got started about the beginning of this year. I was just browsing through the net and I found Gantz manga. I started reading it and liking it.

Extra stuff you dont have to read: I love the characters. Some may disagree, but I love the "human-ness" of all the characters. They are all flawed (especially Gantz) and show a lot of emotion. Another thing is: the story is so open-ended. Hiroya Oku always leaves me guessing what will happen in the next chapter.

Anyway, I appreciate being able to post here and I hope you regulars don't mind either. I have read the manga through once (I haven't caught the newest chapter: 261) yet, but I plan to while in this next read. Thanks for giving me your time.

At least 3 times. I watched anime and felt unsatisfied, so I decided to read the manga and haven't regret it since.
etufo: HS is most likely going to die sooner or later. Who will kill the cool character killer?

Popo: well, obviously going by that logic, HS will have to kill himself...

man I dont how long I have been on this site. I started gantz because a friend told me it was good when I was in high school (2 years ago, I'm not an old geezer!!!) I got reading from here from chapter 58 or close by that. And still stick on it. Go STOPTAZMO and Go GANTZ :P

Um. I have read Gantz about 5 or six times. And I first started reading it because I thought the name 'Gantz' was quite unique

I've read it through entirely almost two times (the first time I skipped to the start of the Buddha arc), and I've read portions of it too many times to count.

I originally looked into it because of the anime, which I picked up on a lark and fell in love with. Unfortunately at the end the relationship turned abusive, but the manga was there waiting for me with open arms.

I think I've read it two times, and the reason why I started readin it, was becuse a friend said it was a freakin good manga, and he was right.

I first watched the anime (which I loved, by the way, even the last few episodes) and was instantly hooked. When it was done I wanted more, so when I realised the manga was still going, I went to look for scanlations and here I am.

I've lost count how many times I've read it. If you can do the mathmatecal equations of rereading it every time Oku goes on a 3+ week break since Katou was revived, then you have your answer (that may be exaggerated just a tad.)
I actually started reading it because I was bored one night and wanted to see massive amounts of blood and horrible deaths that I heard about in the summaries. Then it hooked me completely after Katou died.
