No, the yokai merely decided to stop its rampage; it probably thought the nerd was dead.

Huh? Do you not clearly see the Nerd's eyes open in the final panel? He is alive. The events don't have to connect. This invisible character is just simply attacking, or rather walking or running towards this Behemoth of a Yokai.

Nerd is defintely alive. But the head got thrown somewhere after the creature punched the dock where nerdo was standing. I don't see nuri's head in any of the frames in the comic. I wouldn't be looking to see what was coming though. I would be trying to find nuri's severed head again. I'm sure that it is probably our invisible uber-knight from osaka. The last few comics have been hinting at it. And, if the miltary showed up all of a sudden. I'm pretty sure it won't be long before the other gantzers get there too.

My guess is it's going to be all about Oka, his mecha and Yokai pwnage next chapter.

I'm just hoping that the other Gantzers are going to turn up soon aswell. Aside from Katou and Kaze, the Tokyo Team hasn't been doing much of anything this mission after they met with the Osaka Team. Besides, with two vampires on their side and so many aliens, you'd think they'd take the opportunity to score some massive points.

Is that head still alive though? Cause if thats the 100 points demon it wouldn't die from just getting its head cut off

If he is the boss, then the mission would be over if cutting his head worked.

Are we sure about that? Has there ever been a case where a boss has been killed with non-boss aliens definitely being alive and the mission ending?

I certainly don't think he's dead either, but I find this line of reasoning questionable.

I agree with you on this. I was simplifying it. Big time.

If we look back, at the beginning of the Gantz saga, we were shown enemy's that they had to kill, but there was always a secret boss. Excluding the Chibi Alien And LOTR Aliens. and so, it seems as though the true mission is to kill all the aliens on radar. So it really is hard to say what would happen if, lets say, the Oni Boss died first, or any 'true' boss that has appeared on any Gantz mission. I personally like to think that if you kill the boss, the mission is over.
