How does gantz assign points?

So now that i live in Japan i can just stroll into my local seven eleven and read the latest young jump. Very cool chapter; i won't go into the details cause i know you all want to read it yourselves but let me tell you it tops even the last chapter.

What i have been thinking about recently is how gantz assigns the aliens/monsters points. I now think is has absolutely nothing to do with how powerful they are but how influential they are to the aliens organisational structure. So for example the current boss is not as powerful as some previous bosses but he is smart and as we have seen the yokai are a very large group and he is their leader. Thus, gantz wants to assasinate him. Therefore he awards 100 points for his kill as a reward.


What do you think?

imo nurarihyon is the most powerful boss so far, and i think that his level of influence or jerarchy in his group is determined by how powerful he is, so if the current boss is worth 100pts is not just because he is the leader of a large group but because of his power.

That's not credible. The other two bosses are worth 68 and 71 points, which means not all aliens are put into 3 categories of points (1, 10, 100).

To be honest, I think the Nurarihyon is on the same par and the Thousand arm Buddha. There abilities are alike, and both of them are possible to hit with some form of ease.

Don't hold back on the spoilers Mellow Yellow. Feel free to make a new thread with a summery of the events that occur. Or better yet, take a few pictures and post them. It makes the wait for each chapter better, and allows up to discuss and speculate without having to wait for half a week for the RAW's release.

Or you could go one up and become a RAW provider :P But that would be pushing it.

Sorry i don't actually have a copy i just read it at my local seven eleven. I prefer to wait to buy the volumes instead.

I think scanlations are ok for the people such as ourselves who are actually going to buy real copies eventually but i would not want to provide raws knowing that many people will look but never pay a dime; because of those people we have to pay more in the long run. Also i am technically a government employee here so if i commit a crime here the consequences for myself, and even for colleagues and other associated people, is ten times worse than if i were just an average person. Given that i hope you can understand my desire not to do or read scans but just talk to you guys here.

Kyo seems to be out of action at least for this mission so now it is all up to his buddy with the glasses.

Classic Oku moment ensues when the two minor bosses come up to guy with glasses and knock his gun away. So what does he do? he picks up the bosses head! and aims it at them !!!! hahahaha

Also there are some bigger monsters yet to be seen.

Holy Fuck... he picks the Bosses head and aims at them??!! Lol,that Guy has BALLS !!!! Now he only needs to find a Mirror to finish off the endboss ,now that would be a twist I would like to see^^
