I'm actually in the process of revising my point analysis with the new information we have. In fact, my new analysis will cover every past mission’s point scoring process; don’t expect the revised edition anytime soon though. After all, I want it to be flawless before I post it.
As for the spoilers, I knew this chapter would have a lot of nerd action. I didn’t expect him to fight the other two aliens though.
Wow, my guess was actually correct.

Unlikely. It would require Gantz to care about the success of the mission, which is a dubious assumption to base things on.
Only if they otherwise would have paid for it. You can't lose a sale you weren't going to get anyway.
(There are of course other issues, like possible reduction in perceived value, but that's going to drive prices down—the risk is that it'll drive them down too far to produce anymore)

Hmmm... this argument reminds me of the Tae mission. It was 30 points as a reward to kill a little human girl. I think we can say that Gantz cares that all the aliens are killed or he wouldn't send the gantzers out in the first place. I really don't think we will ever know why Gantz assigns points the way he does.
Sounds like a badass chapter tho

Hardly. Gantz gives no guidance whatsoever—the characters had to figure out how the suits worked, how the guns fired, and went through several missions without even knowing the extendo-katana or monocycle were there. Additionally, in all but the most recent missions, the briefing itself has been downright deceptive, and even now that Gantz appears to actually be showing the boss he's not providing any real information about it. Also, the powerful weapon is obtained after gaining points, when it would be a big help in completing missions to begin with. Lastly, while it's been eliminated now, the time limit was yet another way in which Gantz inhibited rather than aided the attempt to actually kill aliens.
