The Gantz game is an average game in many respects. Basically, if you don't know japanese, you'll be totally lost with the respect portion of the game, and likely all of the characters will hate you. Also, there is so much text to wade through- lasting more than the hunts themselves, which consist of choosing a weapon, button mashing the same button and giving your teammates orders. It is cool however, when you go up to certain objects such as automobiles and press circle(i think, cant remember) and you'll hurl the object through the air at whichever enemy you aim at. Also, I wish the levels could be larger, rather than being a small enclosed area for each portion of a hunt. All in all, the game is worth beating until the end to unlock the Gantz bike and new characters, but other than that I wouldnt recommend an import. Just try before you buy, and warning: if you're a fan of Gantz, you may be sorely disappointed.
None of that stuff tha attracts Gantz fans in this game... it'd be cool if this was the first rated Adult game in US...?
that would be perfect. Should be done in a style like Diablo, Monster Hunter, Phantasy star, where you enter into one black ball room with a team.

But the key part would be gameplay, I think capcom would be best for that. Shadow of Rome and Monster Hunter both control well for 3D games where you run about killing things.
The game is good if you can:
- understand Japanese,
- enjoy Japanese games in general (you know, getting used to all the text to read through whilst vacantly staring at two characters on screen with little movement,
- want to find out more about GantZ, and explore the 16 possibilities,
- want to find out fight the [insert final mission here :P]
Otherwise, if you just don't follow the series really well, you won't enjoy the game as much.
