Actually, the aliens were the innocent ones in the beginning of the manga. Seems to be me like the aliens are tired of being attacked first, so they decided to be hostile towards the humans.

Gantz is like all of you out there who has at least once touched a PS/PS2/PS3/NES/SNES/GB/GBA/Sega/etc consoles which involve a character and has a possibility of that character facing a cruel fate. How is it different for Gantz to play with human lives in his favorite hunting game while we play with the lives of computer generics in games like WoW, RO, Pacman, etc?

The entity is neither good or evil, its merely playing his favorite game and the humans are his penny/quarter which he inserts into the game.

Gantz is the protector of the Earth.

Gantz is a good guy.

I always thought Gantz was the ideal method of decrease the population while having fun. Its like nuclear war or other wars that was intended for bringing down the number of living people to half or even less to preserve our resources and sustain life without worrying too much about what if we used up all natural resources what then? Gantz seems to be located like everywhere and sometimes more than one in each country. Aliens are probably contractors who send their slaves to earth to hold gladitorial matches which would have humans as their prime nutrition and fight with human gladiators because otherwise it would be one sided and very not fun to watch.

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Don't forget, the difference between humans and video game characters is mainly because we can think for ourselves. Regardless of what God thinks of us, we're different from a mere programmed character.

You'll note that the ripping apart was entirely provoked until, IIRC, the Ring Alien mission—the carnage didn't start until the Gantzers had already gotten aggressive.

Too early to say that. We don't know Gant'z true objective or what he is for that matter, so anything is possible.

We Do know his objective , like Nishi said , the aliens are dominatin the world and the apocalipse is near or something like that , that's why Gantz exists !

1. Nishi doesn't know everything.
2. Gantz hasn't acknowledged the fact that he's helping humans, just using them.
3. Just because Gantz gives people suits and weapons does not mean he's the savior of the world. If anything, he might have been reason why the aliens attacked to begin with.

Maybe... gantz is an alien himself and is just using the gantzer to get rid of other aliens so he can take over the world himself
