I just wanna take this time to appreciate the artwork found in Gantz. It really is one if the major reasons i come back to the manga whenever a new chapter is released. The visual eye candy is the reason why i dont really care about the constant delays and breaks. The artwork in Gantz is best by far.
I was wondering if any of you know how he does it. If you pay attention its clear he doesn't use the traditional pen and paper drawing thing because of the depth of detail, especially of the city. It's ultra-rare to find a blank whitespace in Gantz, or a rather plain looking panel. Does he have many artists working for him or does he do the manga by himself? I'm just curious because you cant find this quality in any other manga. |

@^: Veeery nice. What brings you to this conclusion, wiseguy?
@topic: Yeah, the artwork is pretty good. I know about the computer generated background (It had been standing at the end of one chapter, didn't it?), but the figures are really well drawn. |
