whatever, i think the man in the black ball havent had much chance to be mean lately. nothing is like it was before since its malfunction in the Oni mission. And this was the last mission so not much time has passed. Just one mission

It seems to us that much time has passed since the black ball did something weird but thats not the case. Oku takes his time with this manga, thats all.

It was NOT obvious that you were talking about the manga, and you gave a VERY vauge descripion so I merely guessed at what you were concluding to, see on the internets there are these little things called WORDS that we use to try and convey acctual human thought and not drivel.

I believe there were no missions between Kurono's freedom and the current one.
I mean, normally we wouldn't be able to know for sure, but among the first chapters of this 2nd phase, maybe the second, if I'm not mistaken, Katou is intriqued by their visibility to commoners and Sakata explains to him that the same had occured in their previous mission, so it's assumable there has been no other missions.
