The players die in the game of their own free will, if they can't kill the aleins they're screwed.

That's not as far-fetched as you think it is, remember we know almost nothing about Gantz. He just wants people to exterminate the aliens, we don't know how he gets the information on the aliens or how he gets the weapons and suits along with a mysteriously controlled room. What's wrong with Gantz wanting to see people die? Gantz could easily be a sadist for all we know.

Wow, Fero didn't mention anything about that. It's amazing how people will just jump on your back and try to strangle you over something that they stupidly assumed. Anyway, Oku is probably focusing more on the storyline that he probably forgot or he probably just thought Gantz's disses are pointless.
It's like Naruto where that noob author thought so much on making a better shounen storyline that he forgot to give Ino her headband in her new look.

You didn't SAY that you were talking about the manga, get it straight for god's sake, we were all talking about the black ball gantz so your either not paying attention or just oblivious.

He still makes jokes though. The whole Host Samurai was a joke (not a very good one, but then again Katou-cha never was either). I just wish he kept up nicknames for everyone (i.e. calling Kurono bitch at one point and calling Sakata a dumbass).
Gantz is getting tougher, but the team has already adapted to Gantz' rules so it may look like the missions are easier. No one died mostly because of Kurono's leadership. It wasn't Gantz' fault. Plus tons of Gantzers are dying in this mission (only 3 tokyo, but a shitload of Osakan).

but I after kurono left i bet there were mission buring that time that were not shown

by the 3rd mission all but 1 players was kill its been about 5 mission after that and everyone still here

The team hasn't failed a mission since Kurono was solo. I'm sure that if there were a way to still fail a mission, he would take away their points if they did. Therefore, what was the point of you mentioning that occurrence? It's not proof that he was once tougher.

Why do you think that? There was absolutely no reason for Oku to do something like that. In addition, there isn't any evidence to support your claim. What you are suggesting just doesn’t make any sense.

The old Gantzers pretty much sucked. Therefore, to me it really isn't that big of a surprise that the current ones have lived so long. By the way, what does not dieing in a mission have to do with Gantz being softer? It’s not like he isn’t picking strong aliens. The current Gantzers are just too good.

I wonder how would the gantzers react if Gantz suddenly got out of is ball and started stretching and went back inside his ball.... I can picture a big WTF?!?! reaction from them hahah

Okay, I could be wrong here... and maybe this is just me... but failing at a mission and losing your points beats the HELL out of dying, which he deffinently would have had he stayed there.
