Thread: The death of Kurono

^ Maybe that was just that. A list of people who died while playing Gantz and not necessarily his full database. So naturally their faces would not be there because they had not yet died in the game. But when the hunters get hurt Gantz is able to being them to the room with no injuries. In order to do that he must have some kind of database on them.

When Nishi was brought back he had no recollection of the mission when he died. This tells me that the one thats brought back is the one before the mission.

Why would Gantz have data on someone who wanted out? He would have deleted Kurono's data the moment he picked option 1 since he's no longer a Gantz team and hence he has no obligation to keep his data.

It's more or less a die hard fan's hope that Kurono is alive or will be revived. The author's story is very well twisted and highly unexpected outcomes happen. He already given out the possibility that Kato will revive Kurono and he'll surprise us again by having Gantz not revive Kurono instead asking who is Kurono since his data have been terminated from the system.

how he address Izumi and Nishi(Though technically this guy never left Gantz to begin with). Although Izumi left once Gantz has some recollection of him. Thats the only supporting fact to argue back that Gantz stores ppls data regardless of either their dead in the real world or in service of Gantz.

So basically, there is support for the idea that Gantz doesn't erase the data but there is absolutely nothing to support the idea that he does erase the data. Because any available evidence shows that he does. Plus I doubt he would go through the unnecessary time and trouble to delete someones data.

Who knows if the fact I mentioned are just purely memory and not data. Gantz is a living life form so even if he doesn't have Izumi's data he can just take a look at Izumi and know he's been in the room before or something. I'm having a little difficulty trying to remember but did Izumi start off from where he started or did he start from scratch with average weaponry?

Katou remebered fighting thousand arms if you look back. Nishi must have not remembered fighting the Suzuki alien.

We've discussed this topic in the past. It was concluded that a person could remember what happened in a mission up until that person’s first injury is inflicted. He hadn't been hurt up until the point where the boss cut off his arm. Therefore, he was able to remember most of the mission.
