That was my first response (give or take), but it actually isn't that unreasonable a question—Kurono got pretty thoroughly sliced up (somewhere in the torso up between his left shoulder and neck, and quite possibly through his heart), but it can take someone a surprisingly long time to actually die from wounds like that. That said, it's probably been easily long enough for him to bleed out by now.

Failure: when your best just isn't good enough.
I'm not sure I trust Oku to keep proper track of times for vital organ death from shock and hypovolemia, but even if we accept (for the purpose of argument) that he's not dead as of that splash page, we're certain of his death—it's bad form to lie in giant words that come from outside the story. As such, while I'm not sure I can agree that it's a completely stupid question, as such, it is at best pointless.

I agree with Kagetenshi. That question was obviously by somebody who wasn't smart enough to read the last chapter of phase 2 online or download it or even notice that we've been talkin about it for a goddamn year now, BUT it wasn't necessarily stupid since it could've meant did Kurono fully die yet? This thread was pointless...
We've debated this a lot of times. Akira might not be dead.
