I copied Tet’s RPG opening, as I couldn’t think of anything better to open mine. I hope you guys enjoy the RPG and keep it alive until completion.


You find yourselves in a tiny Japanese apartment, with a view of Tokyo Tower, holds a spherical black ball in its living room. Gantz makes his selection of people who have recently died to be teleported to the room.

You open your eyes to find yourself in a tiny apartment. You turned your head to the window to see Tokyo Tower in the distance.

I can feel the blood pouring out by the gallon from the hole in my gut. I am dying. Shit, shit shit shit. I'm too young to die, I haven't even gotten laid yet. As I stumble around the pain begins to lessen. I somehow reach the teacher's desk and fall face first onto it, banging my head pretty hard. I don't feel the pain anymore. I grope around the desk for something, I don't know what, something. I grasp something round, and with all my remaining strength throw it toward where I believe my assailant is. My legs become too weak to support my body, and I collapse onto the floor. The last thing I see is the shooter, his head is in an unnatural shape, there is a huge dent in his skull.

"I can't feel the pain anymore..." I look down at my stoumach. The wound is gone. Then I look around. I appear to be inside an apartment. As I stand I notice a large black ball in the center of the room. I am transfixed by it. Something about this ball is incredible, I can tell that already. There is some deep secret around it. I walk forward and touch it, then I begin to softly massage it's surface. Suddenly a shaft of light extends from the ball into the center of the room, and something begins to materialize...

Shock. That best describes Koi's reaction to what has unravelled before his eyes as he slowly materialized in the strange room.
What the? Is this? Wait a damn second, I should be dead. Shouldn't I? What happened to that guy. More importantly, how come I appeared here instead of having my head crushed by that car? Where the thoughts swirling in his head, barely noticing the boy already in the room.

"Who the hell are you?" I say getting up from the floor, slowly scanning any details I missed from appearing in this, room?

Upon appearing in a strange room with an ominous black sphere at it's center Tomoe Shimada backed into the corner of the room furthest from the ball. Once she took into account the two strange teenagers as well as her odd surroundings Tomoe wanted nothing more than to be back home.
The Japanese one of the two teens was the less initimidating due to his being around her height. The caucasian with the glasses towered more than a foot over her and seemed more menacing. When one of them spoke she was grateful it wasn't to her.

When the memory of hysterical neighbors knocking her down and trampling her surfaced she decided that it was still preferable to this room and these people.

When a laser emitted from the black sphere Tomoe tried to force herself back even more against her safe corner as if to push herself through the wall. Once what looked like a human head began to form she closed her eyes and furiously rubbed the black prayer beads wrapped around her left wrist.

Koi hadn't noticed the new girl appear, he was too concentrated on the boy next to the black ball. It wasn't until he heard her move to the corner that he took notice. When did she get here? The thought was cut short as a beam of light sprouted from the black ball in the room and someone started to slowly appear.So.. I guess thats how we? well at least I got here.But now what?

Saigo opened his eyes and looked around. Two men, a woman and a blackball. Is this some sort of druggy prison he thought, or could this be one of those places ive seen in movies where people are tortured for money? Then he remembered back to before his black out. Enrico... It must be his place. The bastard, must still be angry he thought, he must still want to hurt me. Didn't take my glock tho'. He looked down and pulled back his overcoat, and stared at his pistol. He gripped it and looked around, waiting.

Tomoe stole a glance at Saigo whose defensive posture and intensive grip on something under his coat made the black sphere and the two teens the lesser evils in the room.
As she made her way over to Koi and Joshua she purposely rattled her prayer beads as she had the habit of quietly approaching and startling people. Although they were intimidating they didn't seem threatening...not when compared to the new arrival.

"Um, do either of you know where we are?"

Woah, a guy just materialized!
He asks me who I am.
"Chill out. It's more polite to tell someone your name before asking for theirs" I scold him. Some people have no manners.
"Anyway, before you ask me the second question, no, I have no idea where the hell we are." Suddenly, another beam pops out of the ball. I continue rubbing it absent mindedly. As a head materializes I pray that it is someone with manners.
Its a girl, a fairly good looking one at that. She quickly backs into the corner of the room. She looks frightened, so I suppose I should try and comfort her... but what to say? I hear a noise from another corner of the room and turn that way.
Someone else has spawned without me even noticing. He looks like a gangster, crap. As he reaches into his pocket, I can tell he has a gun or some other weapon. Crap. I just dealt with a shooter, I don't want another one on my hands. The girl in the corner stands up and walks toward the rude kid and I. She asks if I have any idea where we are.
"Nope, but I know that I should be dead." I pull closer to her
"And that guy over there has a gun, be careful not to make him angry."

What? He........died? Then maybe I died as well. If thats true then I really did have my head crushed.
I look at the man with his hand palming something in his trenchcoat.
"Uh mister" I start to say while slowly raising my hands in the air "You wouldn't have happened to have an unfortunate accident before you came here would you?"

*twist* *click* *BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!*

That was the last thing that Merquise remembers. After doing his weekly shopping he returns to his "Fortress" only to be blown to bits, the door was somehow rigged to explode.

"AAAAaaaaargh!" Merquise woke up with a scream. Who can blame him, being blown to bits just seconds ago. He quickly organized his thoughts, somehow somethings not right.

Eh? I just blew up, i think, so where the f*ck am I? This place looks just like my "Fortress" only smaller. I got a bad feeling about this place.

Dumbfounded, Merquise started to look around, not forgetting the fact that he just blew up but the pain caused by the explosion was now a distant memory. His mind is now trying to figure out what happened to him AFTER the explosion.
