Thread: The new Gantz RP

Kyo felt like someone was staring at him. When he looked around he noticed a girl looking at him. He felt quite uncomfortable being examined like that, but he managed to met her gaze without averting his eyes. He raised his eyebrow.

I wonder what she wants? Heh, I guess this is how other people feel when they notice that I am observing them. Not a pleasent feeling

When Kyo's eyes raised to meet Tomoe's her left hand twitched slightly.
"Just don't do anything stupid, okay?"

She immediately left to change into her extremely tight leather-like outfit. Modesty prevented her from going out in it and covered it with her gray t-shirt and striped pajama bottoms. She left the one remaining shoe she had that wasn't bound to the floor and stepped out barefooted.

She smiled when she noticed most of the others were also wearing their clothes over what some of the others have dubbed "the cosplay outfits". It made sense as they didn't seem to flatter anyone with the slightest amount of body fat.

Dont do anything stupid? Was she even here in the last few minutes? Even if I was dancing around here naked with my undewear on my head I would still be less stupid that majority of those overjoyed, hyperactive kids over there that managed to shot each other.

Then Kyo noticed how she always twitch her left hand. When she went to change he saw the vertical scar on her left wrist. He immediately looked the other way, concealing a little grim smile on his lips. He felt a strange feeling, partly surprise and partly symphathy. He gave her last look when she returned from the side room and then resumed observing the crowd in the middle of room.

Is that scar really from what I think it is? Was that the way she ended here? Nah, that scar looks quite old, and when I get here I didnt had any...I never thought I will find someone who can match my own stupidity here... Ah, in the end it doesnt matter, it will stay the same like usual. Everything always stays the same

While the others seemed to embrace the weirdness of their situation something occurred to Tomoe which darkened her mood even further.
She began to wonder if the alien was a decoy and if the real objective was for the people in this room to kill eachother.
She wondered if she had the strength to get through this night without killing anyone and waited for something to happen.

Saigo waited eagerly for what awaited him. He hated waiting, especially for death. These people aren't trained at all, I can tell. That girl might, but eh...
He picked up a square rectangle like thing, and hooked the loops around his wrist.

Shadow you can't be next to Merquise or Saigo coz Merquise is in the corridor next to the exit while Saigo is in the Main Room with the Black Ball.

I have nothing against cosplaying, and the suit looks sort of cool, so I decide to go find a place to change, but first I grab some of the weapons. I take one of the Y shaped ones, and of the X shaped pistols. The shotgun and sniper rifle looking ones look to heavy to be worth the bother. I walk around and try a door I didn't notice before, and to my surprise, it opens. I step inside, close the door, and change into my cosplay suit. There are even straps to hold my guns on each leg! As I am about to leave the room I notice that there is a giant motorcycle in the room. And some swords. I pick up one of the swords
Never know when you need to slice and dice, heh!
I exit the room, leaving the door open in case anyone else needs to use it.
I truly believe that this is a reality show, and I am prepared. I will win the prize, whatever it is.

You can't go describing things that is not "you" i don't know if you get what i mean but what you did there is the GM's/Mod's job, i know most of us have read Gantz but that is not the point... the point is our "characters don't know shit about gantz so the environment and those not concerning "your character" cannot be explained by any means by you... you get what i mean?

This is another example... you said "Saigo shot Joshua straight in the chest." if u stopped right there it would be alright but u added "Nothing happened" that's for the Mod's job. What if he decides that the bullet goes through him and almost kills him? posts like this tend to screw up the scenario that the Mod has in mind for us.


Bottom line, we don't have control over Everything EXCEPT our character, what he/she does, consequences of our actions are entirely up to the Mod to decide. whether if u open the faucet, either water comes out or blood or nothing comes out. whether you jump from 4 storeys high, either you die, get broken bones, get crushed skull whatever. clear so far guys?

As a habit, Tomoe's eyes drifted around the room to the others she had interacted with. She noticed a few carrying what looked to be remote controls. She rummaged through her case and found one for herself but had no idea what it was and no inclination to test it for fear of a number of horrible consequences.

Despite overwhelming fear of dealing with other people she had no desire to see anyone in this room with her die. Even Saigo who scared her and Kyo who disturbed her with an eerie suicidal feeling, she wished no real harm.

Maybe no one really noticed him or payed him much attention. I've been sitting here in this corner for quite some time now. I'm still a little shaken up about what just happened. That asshole... how could he do that? Now I think I just heard a shot fire. What's goin on here? All this muttering and talk of game shows and bullet proof suits. Ann... I promise you I'll be back soon. Maybe I'll have to cooperate with these people. That disgusts me.

Damien is much more of a loner. He always tries to do things on his own. He gets up to his feet. No matter what happens I'll have to make sure I get back to you. Suits, guns, weirdos. Something bad is gonna happen. Damien makes his way over to the black ball. He sees the message and a man inside of the ball. Who the hell is that? And this message is telling us to go kill this guy. Okay, calm down. All I have to do is make sure I protect myself. What's this? It's like a gun but this thing looks like a blow-dryer. I'll take two. And I see people putting on that spandex looking thing. I can see my name on one of those things. I don't wanna have any regrets. Damien sighs and walks to the door.

"Does anybody know what's gonna happen next or why we're here?" He remembers overhearing someone say they just died.

I am still standing by Saigo, but he has a look in his eyes, I can see that he thinks I'm a fool, that if we have to actually kill eachother I'll die first. I'll prove him wrong. There is a lot people don't know about me, why I try to help everyone, even at my own expense, why I befriended the nerds instead of the cool kids. Hell, I am a man of secrets.
But I am damn good at surviving. I will live, and I won't kill anyone. If this is really like battle royale then 2 of us will survive. I simply have to run until someone... probably Saigo, kills all the others.
I am resolute until I see Koi's face again. He looks so scared.. like a younger version of me.
I caused this. He's worried that his suit might have been weakened because of what I did. I have to make amends.
But first... maybe if we make a team we can find out who is behind this show (besides the dead looking guy in the ball) and stop them. Or maybe we don't have to kill eachother, and we really do have to destroy the alien. But I couldn' kill anything, even something as hideous as that caveman!
If I had a team, they could take it... who would I want on it?
Hmm... The platypus, the girl, Koi (to protect him), Saigo (tho he looks like a loner) and Merquise. Sounds like a good crack team to me, Saigo could kill the baddys, Merq too probably, Koi looks good with computors, which might be useful. The girl looks more confident with that sword, she probably does kendo. The platypus is cute... and me, what could I contribute? I have ideas like this... crazy ideas, hell, I've been called insane before, but I do believe that if we work together we could survive. I can start by trying to recruit Koi, I know I can just carry the platypus, it seems to like me anyway. The others tho... I'll focus on that later. And the other people in the room, I'll save them too.
"Koi" I say as I walk up to him. "I'm sorry about shooting you, but don't worry about it, I'll take any hits that people aim your way."
I offer my hand to him as a sign of friendship.

Koi was processing what Josh said and in a voice he was hoping only Josh and the cop could hear said "Apology accepted, but who said anything about killing each other? That was everyone elses assumption not mine. I'm more worried about the alien than you lot, besides that black ball has more of an official word than your speculations as far as I'm concerned.
