Strengths: Small venomous barb on the hind legs. Also has sensors in beak that it uses to find food

Background Story: Whistles was born and raised in the local zoo, and lived a normal platypus-y life. His mother died last year, and it made him very depressed. The zoo staff was worried because he didn't eat for awhile, but he eventually got over his depression when they supplied him with a pretty female platypus. They had many children.
Death: Whistles died a very anticlimactic death. His caretaker accidentally dropped him while putting him in his cage for a routine cleaning of the platypus exhibit. He fell a few feet and landed on his neck and broke it.

This is a completely serious post. This rpg needs the random animal that gantz is famous for.

Appearance: 6 foot 2 inches, 90 kg. Broad shoulders, strong frame but not overly muscular. slightly redish brown hear, blue eyes, short beard and mustache.

Apparel: Grey summer suit white shirt black tie brown leather shoes.

Strengths: Practioner of Kendo and has built up a lot of Stamina from training. Relatively agile for his size but only of average strength. Educated to a post graduate level.

Weaknesses: Sometimes very single minded and overly focused.

Background Story: Alphonse is working as an assistant language teacher in Japan. He lives with his partner who is Japanese. He was killed by an explosion caused by a gas leak in his neighbours apartment.

I would like to play with you. Since i'm a dnd dsa and vampires rp player, i would like to play another typ of rp that doesnt start in the middle ages.

Appearance: 5 foot 9 inches, buisnessmen lookalike, serious expresion, brown short hair, well-groomed appearance, brown eyes, no beard
Apparel: black buisnessmen cloathing, black shoes
Strengths: keen thinker, money, adaptive tactican
Weaknesses: no martial arts, as strong and as fast as a normal middle aged human, does not want to get dirty, does not speak japanese: only german and english
Items: Start with none, but he would choose a ranged weapon and the cloaking device
Background Story: He is a german buisnessman that lived a normal life and worked for a well known german bank (Commerzbank). In his free time, he used to play Tennis with his friends and his wife. He has a 14 years old daughter named Jenny. He came to Japan because of a meeting with the chief of the national japanese bank, but he never arrived there.

Death: You must have heard it in the news. This was big. The airplane from the Deutsche Lufthansa just had a malfunction and crashed into the main building at tokyo airport. No one survived it. The cause of the malfunction is unknown.

Hey guys it looks like things are getting started. Just three comments:

1) please establish your use of bold text for thoughts and italics for flash back in here not in the actual rpg thread. I am hoping that we can keep the thread itself completely in character.

2) Only the games master should be indicating the actions of Gantz but it is up to the other players in the room to support these actions with description and response. So the gamesmaster will control the rate at which gantzers will be able to enter the room and when the weapons pop out etc . . .

3) just one last thing try to be as descriptive of the current situation as possible so that everyone is aware of everything that they should be. For example if i were to arrive next i would take note of the two men currently in the room in the passage i write.


I dunno just my thoughts. Anyway waiting for Gantz to start beaming another person in.

One last thing, THis would be so cool to get people who play other role play games but know nothing about gantz to join this RPG after the first round! Then we can act all smug like Nishi. That is assuming any of us survive this one. buhahhahahahaa

I would actually suggest not making multiple accounts; it seems to be greatly frowned upon by mods and senior members. I wonder why. That was sarcasm btw, the reason multiple accounts are frowned upon is that they can be used to ban dodge. The mods hate ban dodgers.
