    Indeed, a very good analogy.

    A Literature interested Penguin is a rare thing, eh?
    Reminds me of Terranigma's Pinguinea (or whatever it was called).

    ^Are you a Wheel of Time victim too?
    T-T
    Read through 13 books (including the WoT guide, and WoT zero), and was denied the last one... they average 600-800 pages paperback, and book eleven is an epic 1000+...

    Some random retard that Robert Jordan's wife liked is writing the last book. Scheduled to come out end of next year.
    My thoughts on the said topic: It's like having the guy doing Naruto takeover for oku, should it come to that... T-T

    ^ The point is: if any of us is a mother in disguise, Popo's sending his regards.

    I find Hiroaki Samura's stuff pretty nice.
    I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the announcement of the project (most thought it would never happen, including myself), and then I heard Bee Train would be handling animation production... This news was very unsettling to me, but I’ll still watch it, even though it’ll probably be mediocre.

    The exam overall was pretty easy, as expected. I also did well on the Multiple Choice (it's only reading comprehension after all) and my strongest essay was my Lit Analysis one (on a lame aside: I did it over Hamlet, which made me think of Code Geass, and I struggled not to replace names such as Hamlet and Laertes with Lelouch and Suzaku. Yup, that's how lame I am). The poetry wasn't bad at all, and one of the poems on the MC was one my class did a few weeks before the exam. My weakest essay was probably the short passage one, and I had trouble getting content. I think I only made 2 pages of material on it.

    @Popo and Urameshi
    Ah, all this talks on litterature bring me back to my cambridge days - 4 papers, 2 hours each, two questions on two different texts. Poetry/Prose, Drama, Shakespeare and other pre-twentieth century authors, Twentieth century authors.
    Twentieth century authors are the bomb, man. e.g. Broken Chronology makes for a good read, and is pretty much normal practice these days, but try writing 1000 words on the issue, in a sensible, well structured manner... Twentieth century authors are D4 B0MB, i tell you...

    Alright this is probably going to be coming from left field but I suggest everyone here go watch Speed Racer if they have nothign better to do. It was surprisingly good. Cheezy like the series but not so cheezy that you want it to stop. It was surprisingly good in my opinion.
