Awww... maybe its the the sub you got I have seen big variations in subbing - For example Gode Geas (Otherwise known as Code G-ass) there is this part where a guy says - "It's wrong! He is only going to create more upheaval" - Most subbing stick to that, except one (can't remember who) which writes
"It's wrong! It's only going to cause more disturbance (shut up Kira Yamato, LoL)"

That said, aren't you mistaking Hallelujah, and Setsuna? Setsuna is on Exia - He doesn't say it in the very last battle of the episode (against the GN Flag), but against the Golden Gundam thingie with the Corner Guy inside. He says it while he is sticking his blades into the other Gundam... Hard to miss - "Sorda (That's Right)... Orewa (I am)... Ore Tachi ga (we are) Gundam da!!!!!!"
About explaining that statement -Setsuna is t3h GUNDAM otaku - For him Gundam is god/protector of the weak/savior of the world (wiki has some good articles as to what Gundam means) - so by "we" I guess he is refering to Celestial Being as a whole. Celestial Being = Gundam = God(etc,etc)... a simple equation, really... if you were a gundam otaku... o.O
As for Lockon - You'll see his twin brother standing off at a distance when he visits the family grave (a long ways back in the anime). He also mentions him at one point - I think his name is Leil. (Lockon's name is Neil, duh...)
Oh yeah now that I think about it Exia vs GN Flag was very cheesy as well - "You are the pilot that stole my heart -this feeling is undoubtedly LOVE!!!" I was like O.o for five seconds... had to pause the anime briefly, and rewind just to check I heard/read right...
It also involves a repeat of that very Gay Gundam Seed moment where Kira and Asuran charge each other in a suicide attack, screaming their asses off as they do... but oh well, I suppose Gundam isn't Gundam without that...

No I didn't confuse them, I was just fucking around saying Setsuna had mpd simply because of his personality outside a gundam at times seems drastically different while in one. Also I completely forgot about the twin brother thing, it really didn't click tbh, as it seemed like such a minute detail at the time, as he only appeared what 20 seconds out opf a whole 20something minute episode? I was actually going to say it was fairly obvious he ment himself and celestial being as a whole but then this IS the same site where somone can come up with that dumbassed orange sharingan/rainbow sharingan idea and actually get a couple of retards to believe him. But retardation aside I dont mean you being so gullable just I dont doubt somone comes from left field and just goes on a pissing fest, something I was trying to avoid but meh. I'm more interesting to know if whats his face actually lived and is now going to become the Char of the series, as there is almost ALWAYS A CHAR!!!! Gaw why is that guy always such a dick in every series.

Yesterday I started watching Wolf's Rain.
I've watched it up to episode 9, so far so good.

Gilgamesh is also good; watched it a few years ago, about the same time I watched Last Exile.

Anyone here ever tried Ergo Proxy? I've only seen three episodes of it.

Edit: Oh hello Cali... About wolf's rain, I liked it too... one of the few Jap. Animes with a Decent English Opening... Only problem was that it ended to quickly, and just when things start getting massive... but then again, better for it to end early than to have a snake-tongued idiot ninja with a weird accent butt in... as it is, we already have (Spoiler) Kakashi...

Oh yeah, thx for all the advice ppl... umm if you want something Sunrise, and not Gundam, then get S.C.R.Y.E.D - I think it's the very best non-gundam anime sunrise has ever made... actually, i'd put it above seed and destiny, but that's just me... Among other things, it features one of the very best last episode I have ever seen... "Actually, there's something I'd like to do... it's not very important but..."

That said, has anyone here played Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night. They are both graphic novels by type moon, and feature some mild sexual content (Not much more than Gantz, when I think about it)... It's one of the biggest success stories in Japan - Tsukihime topped 2 million sales... A fighting game spinoff of the Tsukihime, Melty Blood, was even turned into a manga... i think it's on StopTazmo too...

I didn't say I liked it... i didn't say it was good - I said it was decent - that is, compared to other Japanese anime with songs written in english, it's not THAT bad...

That said, why don't you like it? - is it the crap/very limited lyrics of the song? or this tendency to draw out syllables (eveeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr STRAY!!!!)? or how the sentence structure is warped, compared to normal english songs?
Surprisingly, once you translate the lyrics of Japanese openings into english, 90% of them use exactly the same model - the only difference is that you don't understand it, and so you listen to how it sounds like, rather than what it means. I found out most of the Japanese songs that are liked outside of Japan have shit lyrics... Yui's "Life" comes to mind, among others...

This opening discussion has reminded me of a great anime caled "Hundred Stories".
It is similar to Mononoke, from what I've heard. (I only have read the first chapter of Mononoke manga)
Oh, and no comparison to Jigoku Shoujo (that's among the worst anime I've ever seen in my whole life, way worse than Saint Seiya, which is bad, but "good bad").

And about "Stray" I found it very annoying until listen to it for what, about 6 episodes? Such a nice song...

Yeah -I didn't like Stray that much at first, and I still don't, but It's a great... mood-setter, I guess - Cool and slow, like rain falling, and somewhat lonely, like a wolf - Wolf's Rain, duh...
