I would think we all know that by now, Cooler.

I'm with you on that though, but I'd love to know why. The reason he is my favorite is cause of his attitude. Coolheaded and he's all business, plus he's unpredictable. Maybe it's me but he seems alot creepier in the manga than in the anime.

This Kurono vs Izumi thing is still speculation. I think Izumi would win cause he's merciless. Kurono kills when he has no choice.

Some people say Kurono is better than izumi but i still see no proof. Izumi single handedly killed all those vamps. I doubt kurono would have lived through it.

The problem with that is we don't know since Kurono lost a good chunk of memory.

What you need to do is look at the growth of Kurono, from chapter 1, to the end of the Oni Mission.

Kurono was a broken and changed teenager. Compared to his past self he was a nobody. The story we see in Gantz is of him reclaiming his 'lost' self.

Also keep in mind Oku's, well I wouldn't say bad, but inconsistent writing.

By the end of Phase one. Kurono had not only homed his skills as a 'warrior'. He had reclaimed the spark he had when he was young. The aura of a leader, and the fighting skills to match that. His determination is what makes him strong whilst Izumi had faltered due to is inhibitions. His unwillingness to be part of a team. No earthly desires, no emotional attachment, which, as a result lead to his lack of determination.

Kurono's case of 'being strong because of determination', I believe is evident in Kaze, and Katous same cases. The things that make them so great, so efficient in battle is their emotional attachments to other things or people.

When it comes down to raw skill, I'm sure that Izumi is better. But without determination, Kurono would beat him down.

The Vampires are no match for the Oni Boss, let me tell you that now.

You also mention that you don't think that Kurono wouldn't survive through the attack. Well, Izumi didn't either.

    lol thats funny

yet I think Kurono would have beated the vamps easily, the only reason he died in the first place was cause that Blonde vamp raised the head of his brother and that shocked Kurono, with offcourse was the only reason the Blonde vamp sliced kurono that easily

and why I say this? Kurono didn't have a suit, a gun and more important his memory and yet he doged the attacks of the female vamp and that surpriced then by a lot, but the Blonde guy said this guy is just a human right? and bringed Kurono's brother into play and Kurono lost his focus and pretty much got sliced...

Kurono humanity is what makes him stronger than Izumi and yet is also his weakness.

Nishi isn't even on the magnitude of Izumi when it comes to fighting. The only person I see that is of equal status to Izumi is Kurono.
