The only thing that I don't like about the manga (besides Kurono
) is "Option#3: Revive someone from the Gantz's memory bank." At first I thought this choice only applied to Gantz players currently in the game.... and NOT EVERY SINGLE FRIKKIN' HUMAN!!! It's too DBZ-ish since it doesn't quite matter anymore when main characters die. Yeah... it's still hard to get 100 pts... but this is really "cheap"(Sakata's right)!!! So basically... I think that Tae should never have been allowed to be revived because she was an "alien". And Kurono is a goner forever because he wasn't a Gantzer anymore (O_O) This way there's also a dilemma when getting 100 pts. Do you wanna choose freedom but risk the chance of dying for "real" or keep on playing knowing you can be revived over and over again(well that's kinda "cheap" too lol). What do you think? I still love Gantz (only read this and Berserker) no matter what... Kei "attention-whore" Kurono not so much though. PS: Can someone please thoroughly explain the whole last name/first name calling thing? I know there's formal and informal but why so many Kei-chan, Kurono-kun, Kurono-sama, etc?

There's not much to explain. Kurono-kun would be what a friend or teacher calls him. Kurono-sama would be from someone who respects him like a god or a king and Kei-chan is just a nickname.

Dono is a formal keigo (honorific) used for people higher than you. Like a lord. It's kind of old and not used much any more.

Which chapter did they say it can be ANYONE? I'm pretty sure it's only in Gantz's memory. The reason why Tae got ressed is because she was in Gantz's memory since she got scanned when she was terminated in her mission.
And -san is like Mr. Mrs. or Ms. , it's very common, standard formal. -dono is very rarely used as it's more like a historical thing like Sir or something -sama is respectful, someone you greatly respect. -chan is for very little children or as a pet name like baby -kun is for kids/teenagers like 12-18 there are probably some others that I don't know but it's just adding a title to someone's name. Also calling someone by their first name is also seen as very intimate same with just their last name (without adding -san or -kun).

Bringing people back is very cheap. It's basically just an excuse for Oku to kill characters off and then bring them back later, just to make things seem more suspenseful.

Well is then not cheap that gantz saves people lives when they should have died.
