Osaka arc - Nishi

Hey guys we haven't seen Nishi yet, but i have been thinking their might be another reason for this other than his usual covert tactics. Nishi knows a lot more than other gantzers and has some knowledge or even possible experience of missions involving other gantz teams. So far he has stayed invisible to keep an edge on the yokai/aliens, but he may be wanting to get the drop on the Osaka team as well.

Do you think it is possible he is aware of a possible reason for conflict or competition with the Osaka gantz team? Like that if the Osaka team kills the big boss the tokyo team has failed the mission and loses all its points? Or that Gantz will only allow one team to return home after the mission?


Anyway just remember Nishi is a team player: its just a matter if of whether he thinks you are worthy to be on his team! He was going to let kurono collect his hard earned points in the onion alien mission, but kurono declined though.

ANYWAY PLEASE DO NOT TURN THIS INTO ANOTHER NISHI IS THE BEST Vs NISHI IS A STUPID COWARD WHO JUMPED IN THE WATER THREAD. Just talk about his motivations and actions of the present.

Well that's pretty hard since he didn't do anything.
And it's hard to speculate about his motivations.

It seems he is doing what he did in the beginning, and he probably has the same motivation for doing it.

Nishi is kinda hyppocritical. I mean he did say it's every man for himself but when he came back he said izumi used to be his leader meaning he was part of a team. So I guess he really does team up with whoever he feels is worthy and won't get in his way.

I don't know about that spying on the osakans thing. I think us not seeing him is maybe a way of building up anticipation and some excitement especially for those Nishi fans. When I found out that he came back, I was extatic. Honestly if i would've read that chapter before i found out, I would've jumped up like wtf?! I doubt that he's spying on them cause they use the radar too and they'd easily find him... well that's if they could tell the difference between the aliens, them, and the other team on the radar.

That's an interesting theory. I doubt that whatever team gets the boss gets the points though.

I agree. This speculation won't go very far and considering the bosses have already shown their faces it won't be long before we see this arc come to a close and all its participants meet their fates. Why speculate when you can just wait and see.

Yes, it's wait and see. When he died, we saw that his motivation for doing what he did was to just get out of Gantz. I don't think he'll try to leave so soon if he gets 100 points though. He has some kind of connection with Izumi. I expect him to be back. I think Nishi willl be the one to bring him back since most of the team have their own motivations. They'd have to be smart and know who to bring back in order to get help or they probably wouldn't give a damn about Izumi. Especially if they found out he killed most of them. I hope he comes back and they do.

Nishi sucks and is a coward because he went into the water... JK
I think Nishi will appear near the end in a badass way killing off the final boss or something... That'd be neat, but hey wait and see.

i don'T think that nishi will revive Izumi because if he wanted to he could have helped him against the vampires but decided against it cause he wouldn't get points for killing them so he just phoned Sakurai and asked him to help Izumi.

If Nishi would bring someone back i think it would be Kurono because without him he would still be dead...

Those are some good points but so far from what we have seen from Nishi, he apparently has a mysteriously large amount of information. I'm guessing 2 years will do that to you. He may yet revive Izumi because even though he didn't help him I think his rationale at the time is that he could handle it, which he did but unfortunetly his gf came along and that got him killed. Izumi and Nishi know about the gantzers in differing countries and I believe they may have the same ideals when it comes to thier countries involvement, seeing from thier conversation on the train.... which was cut in half... ironic isn't it <_< >_>. We may yet be surprised and see that at the end Nishi has a good amount of points while we are looking at Kato and the group and surprise us when he revives Izumi.

I agree and maybe Nishi is already killing off aliens!! hehehe

Nishi is probably uses his old trick hidding till most of the players die,i think we will see him fighting the boss or something that will impress us,thats the only reason i see to keep nishi out for so long.
